I was thinking of that sense of awe I get when gazing up at the stars and beautiful sky at night

Whimsical waltz! I’ve been debating if I should delete measures 9-16 or leave them in. My favorite part is the contrast in measures 17-23! Hope you like it! I know it’s kinda simple

Best way to record song to share with friends and family? MuseScore MIDI sounds too robotic. iPhone recording is okay but seems to be a bit lacking.

Recording in a studio sounds expensive, especially if it’s just to share with friends and family

Is iPhone video the most common method?

What do you guys do?

This piano music is so relaxing to listen to quietly in the background

I find it uplifting

I really like Autumn Walk by Brad Jacobsen! Anyone know of similar music?

Just wondering if there are other people that like this style of music. I find it so peaceful, and I’m looking for other composers who write in a similar style

What do you like about it? What can be improved?

I don’t know very many people that play the piano. I only took a few lessons many years ago and have been trying to teach myself music theory. I listen to piano music a lot, so a lot of my writing just comes from what seems to sound good

Looking for constructive criticism! Trying to write songs has been fun!

One of my first pieces in musescore. What’s some honest feedback? Strengths? Weaknesses? What do you like about it?

I’ve heard it so many times at this point that it’s getting hard to judge it. Getting feedback can be so helpful too. Thanks in advance!

I probably spent over ten hours writing this, one measure at a time, and it was a lot of fun!
