Tale as old as waves

The day started well enough, sailing alone in the roar hunting skeletons for the order. I collected enough skulls to be recognized as one of their premier emissaries, raided the reaper’s garrisons just to change pace! And thats when i saw it, a grey and red skull floating in the sky. I sailed for morrow peak to sell what I’d already gathered and that is when i should have known something would go wrong. A megaledon rose from the waves to face me, and while the hunt was little issue, its appearance was but an omen of that to come.

Setting off then from morrow peak, the skull in the sky brought wonder and excitement to my heart. This is one I’ve never faced, and to my shock i found it already beset by a phantom flotilla. Caught between their roaring cannons and those of the fortress my little sloop seemed to be made of paper. After a hard fight the phantoms where gone and I was ashore. My first order of buiness was to raise a friendly skeleton burried next to my beachhead, and the two of us charged in side by side cutlasses swinging into the frey of phantoms and skeleton. From dawn to dusk to dawn again our blades, daggers, and shot filled the air until at last the duchess herself gave up her skull. My jubilee could barely be contained, after such a long fight it was done. The fortress key was mine. I opened the vault to be struk with wonder by it contents, skulls aplenty, a chest of fortune! The riches blinded my eyes.

I set sail with my prize, only to be met a sea with the skeletons rebuke. A sloop rose from the sea off my starboard side. Manning the cannoms is where I met my tragic fate, a cannon shot taking my head… when i awoke from the ferry all was lost, water poured into the bilge faster than i could scoop it out. My ship sank beneath the waves never to be found again…

Never get comfortable on the seas my friend, for they eternally seak to claim what sits atop them. So take my tale as words of caution lest you meet the same fate.

Opinions on this style of shading?

While im most curious about how people feel about the cell shading, im open to any and all feedback!

I made this originally a few years ago and don’t remember what references I used, though I’m sure I used some. Im asking for feedback now as im thinking about going back to this style for portraits of people which i rarely do

Note - no idea why it wont let me change the tag, this isnt an update :/

The second Great Colapse

Crackpot theory, but if winterhold truly did collapse due to erosion and th weakening of the ice sheet it was built on, then Solitude is next. That arch over the river aint gonna last much longer with the weight of the city atop it.

From what little i know of the old lore, i think the old capital falling before a period of strife to be capped off with the collapsing of the current capital is somewhat of a rhyme with skyrims history.

Does anyone know a good tattoo artist who does work over scars?

I want to go to someone who has alot of experience and examples of their work over scars, not just a tattoo artist who says ‘yea I can do scar tissue’ without any actual proof or good knowledge in doing so

Thank you for your time

Edit - if you have something to say please do so in the comments rather than just messaging me
