Why are "neodinosaurs" prevalent still? (genuine question for people who believe)

From everything I have been able to find Neodinosaurs / any prehistoric animal thought to be living in the modern day is tied back to hoaxes (Surgeon's photograph, Kasai rex, etc) or are inventions of colonial expeditions / exploitation (literally every congo neodinosaur).

I have delved deep on this topic specifically before and honestly wonder why people even think of them as cryptids instead of fantasy. There should be some evidence of them surviving in the fossil record if there were any grounds to these ideas.

For a possible alternative explanation, perhaps its mis-identified animals such as large bats for supposed "pterosaurs".

Working on a Creepypasta Fighting game concept and need advice.

Disclaimer: not a real game since im not a programmer but I am making designs.

Currently looking for good character suggestions. I want to roster to be diverse and also be a sort of celebration of the genre and history (aka, idc about the quality of the original story as long as I can make them interesting / they are iconic enough.)

I also have a question about a specific character, being Ticci-Toby. I have a good idea for him that would sort of be a remake of the character in some ways, but I dont want to disrespect the original author by going against their wishes and using him, any advice on this?

Have been in Bozeman about a year and single, not really sure what to do?

Im a guy and 23 and I am already a bit awkward socially, I also dont trust dating apps and have 0 success on them. I also dont like to go out to bars and am much more comfortable either watching wildlife or playing games. So yeah, not really sure what to do at the moment.

ABSOLUTE GIGAN [OC]

After Ghidorah's defeat, the Xiliens took a sample of his DNA from the fight, creating a bio-mechanical monster to follow their every order. However, in its initial fight with Godzilla, the unpredictable cells of the golden demise began to awaken and rapidly grow, bursting forth from the mechanical shell. Thus, Gigan was born.

By now we know about the BVTOYSNHK theory, and tbh I was more convinced than others because I had been thinking the same things recently, especially with Bear of Vengeance.

However, the one thing that always held me back is "how in the hell would BV blame william for his death" when we know the bite killed him.

However, looking back I think I figured it out.

Thanks to Sister Location it is at the very least heavily implied that William talks to BV through the fredbear plush. We also know that William told Mike to put Elizabeth "back together"

The last thing BV hears is the fredbear plush telling him "I will put you back together", instantly followed by a flatline.

Looking at williams character, he clearly thinks of his children as tools, and a kid who is at best never going to have sound mental functions ever again isnt very useful to william. In fact, he would be more useful to william if he was dead.

I honestly think at this point that William pulled the plug on BV, and similar to andrew from the books, BV couldn't remember the full events of what occurred. That is until he was "put back together" either by Cassidy through the logbook or in Happiest day.

a creature hailing from the deep ocean abyss, its origin is uncertain. Upon its thick hide are growths of stone, creating geothermal vents. Steam and other chemicals constantly emit from these vents, giving off a distinct, foul, sulfuric odor

Absolute Baragon is actually a naturally evolved creature, usually living its life entirely underground, it has absorbed uranium deposits over time, evolving it into the form it is today. He has a rock-encrusted body and is entirely blind, using sound and smell to get around. His only non-physical ability is his horn can create an Ionizing Flashbang. This disorientates kaiju but is deadly to smaller beings.
