So what happened exactly in Jade's shroom fuelled walkabout?

The Boyd in his head acted just like the real Boyd. The monsters acted just like real monsters. So was that all really just in his head and everyone was a figment of his own imagination?

The past lives of Jade were in his head because they were a part of him. But Boyd needed frequent updates. At one point Memory Boyd tried to drag him out of the underground caves. How differently would the vision have gone if he had actually followed?

Also, I don't think the monsters will kill Jade, just like they haven't killed Victor for some reason. That's not how they're supposed to die. Jade is meant to be killed by the townspeople in every cycle. Boyd probably also has some specific kind of death in store for him. That's why the monsters haven't killed him despite having the opportunity on three separate occasions.

Dr. Anand Nadkarni passed away two days ago

Most of you probably have no idea who he was. Some of you might vaguely know him by reputation only. A few of you might actually have been a patient or had family members who were patients at some point.

He was a founding member of the Institute for Psychiatric Health in Thane. He did a lot of pioneering work in the field of mental health in India and was instrumental in reducing the stigma surrounding it. He also had a lot of published works on the subject in Marathi.

Anyway, just felt like I should share this.

[Spoilers] So the ____________ are what the group heard moving around on the first night

So why didn't they attack anyone that night, or all the nights when someone was staying at the settlement? The people from the town have been making lots of trips back and forth. Jade knocked over the effigy on the first night, if that was indeed what was keeping them away. People have been back at the settlement plenty of times without getting hurt.

I know that this is the "vibe" of the game, but I've never played the games. I want to watch this as a tv show, not a live action game. They way overdid it with the music.

The juxtaposition of violent action with a calm and soothing soundtrack is a well known trope that can be very effective when done properly. My favorite scene is Quicksilver's kitchen scene in Days of Future Past.

However this show does it all the bloody time, including in scened where it does not belong, even over dialogues, like an annoying background radio that you can't turn off.

And if anyone asks why I didn't report the comment, it's because this guy deleted his comment like a little bitch. However deleting the comment doesn't delete the inbox notifications - which is a clever way to send abusive comments without leaving any trace for mods to take action on.

From the outside Japan looks like a country living in the future while India looks like a hellhole. However there are a lot of shocking videos coming out of Japan about what the work culture is like for the average salaryman.

There are reports about how salarymen live out of internet cafes because they can't afford a home close enough to the office to be able to get there in time, a lot of wasted hours doing nothing in particular other than stretching time at work just because the culture demands it, then going out for drinks with the boss, again because the culture demands it. So many people n the internet commenting about how they would love to visit Japan as tourists but wouldn't want to live there which is highly surprising given the standard of living in Japan.

The Japanese even have a term for "death from overwork". It's called Karoshi.

The Japanese population is in decline because people are too burned out from work just to support themselves to think about a family.

Indian workplace for all its faults was never that bad. Indian companies may overwork you to an inch of your life, but no corporation expects its employees to not go home to their families when the workday is over.
