Temple of Khnum Located in Esna in Luxor the Temple of Khnum was built in the Ptolemaic Period (2nd century BC) and completed under Roman rule. It was dedicated to Khnum the ram-headed god of creation believed to shape humans on a potter’s wheel and control the Nile’s annual flood
