do you think that Skarrsinger Karmelita would softly kick you in the groin if you paid her? or would she be the type that'll walk out the door like nothing happen as you see a flash of light and feel a semi truck hit the place where the sun doesn't shine?
trash can armor wins
if anyone is wondering, darktide added alpha skitarii which are highly augmented and genetically augmented to be bigger and stronger than baseline skitarii, and new scab enemies that are just as tanky as mini bosses.
the average human meeting a skitarius be like
[she's that big since most alpha skitarii are usually astartes size]
glad the male anarchist hive ganger has banger lines on the skitarii, blud is absolutely thirsty.
I wished I could record it but he was absolutely going wild when the exterminator said "you will follow me until your last breath? and he said "just say whatever you need!" in an extremely zesty voice, like he's got my type of freak, I wouldn't be surprised he's just itching to suck them skitarii toes like junkrat does on plastic explosives.
remember what they took from you
the sony ceo and execs just laid off an unknown number of marathon staff, almost every dev who spoke up against the malicious decisions got that layoff note, and we should unite together to protest.
YOU MEAN TO TELL ME THAT NONA WAS A BEAUTIFUL BIG FAT WOMAN IN THE CONCEPT ART BUT NOT IN-GAME!?
how could you bungie, to bbw hive women in d2 witch queen concept art, to this, like why yo so scared to have beautiful fat alien/bug ladies in your games aside from concept art?...
oh fiddlesticks I didn't realize that forerunner has a new ornament
definitely leaning more into that halo magnum aesthetic
the Skitarii personalities are just top notch [semi summary]
the voice work is just incredible and surprised how much personality was there, and after listening to a few various gameplay clips and hearing conversations, this is how I view the 4 skitarii personalities:
the Pathfinder: he seems like this calm and very stalwart leader, always charging in the front, always calm in the storm, wouldn't be surprised he's a skitarii alpha vanguard with the most durable augmentations to represent that leading role
the Reverent: she seems like both an extremely rational and quite protective nerd, almost like someone who could've been a tech priest but didn't want to deal with all the annoying datawork, probably has emotional cores with how she feels for everyone, or wanted to be a tech priest but was reassigned to be a skitarii
the Hunter: he's like if a necron flayed one decided to larp as a sicarian ruststalker, a full on psycho itching to fight and rip things apart, especially organics, and doesn't want to work with other skitarii or tech priests and just wants to shed blood
the Exterminator: she views mass extermination as logical, and is quite spiteful, especially towards organics which isn't surprising, and seems focused on enacting revenge on those who befell atoma and shows no trust towards anyone outside of her admech superiors
I think my favorite of the bunch is reverent since she reminds me of twelfth architect from silksong [a big and nice nerd] and second being pathfinder as that vanguard like team leader.
son of a nutcracker, Fatshark actually did see my post, KARKING BEAUTIFUL.
this will be the wh40k variant of a precision grenade launcher and it's beautiful, it's like a dreamy christmas present that came true.
man I can't wait for the hive ganger interactions with the skitarii
especially the male anarchist who's basically junkrat in the 41st millennium, because I feel like some ganger is going to call a em clanker, and it's either going to be enemies for life or possible frenemies.
I strangely haven't been this excited for a new upcoming class as much as the Alpha Skitarii. [and this is the first WH40k FPS game with playable AdMech by the way]
don't me wrong the Hive Ganger is pretty cool and slapstick funny [male anarchist my beloved] and the Arbites is absolutely bonkers, but I've been yearning for an AdMech class for a long while and I thought we would never get a FPS game that would feature the admech let alone a more humane/free subfaction of them
yet here we are getting the alpha skitarii, Fatshark managed to make it work around the older lore and the skitarii's limitations in general, the skitarii we're getting are alpha primus class skitarii, who are pretty much fully independent individuals with personality, which is pretty more humane compared to other depictions of admech [I see that as a breath of fresh air lorewise, since most skitarii are just semi servitors with guns] and being able to make them just as creative and diverse as tech priests in terms of augmentation and aesthetics is a major win for me
and the cherry on top of all, is that this is the first WH40K FPS game in history to feature the AdMech as a playable faction/class, like I've heard people say that GW has been very hesitant of featuring the admech in first person or third person games, yet Fatshark managed to get them to give the greenlight to make it happen, and we're getting that freshly baked cake in just a week away.
I wonder why hasn't anyone else decided to transform/evolve themselves into a hive/krill?
I mean the fact eris did it [and lorewise she was gigantic] and it was only temporary to weaken xivu, yet why hasn't anyone else done it?
and since it seems like luzaku said some form of goodbye [which really karking hurts] I think it would make a lot of sense to have some allied hive on the vanguard's side and why not do that by having those who want to take some risk evolve/reform themselves into a hive/krill?
man I karking love the gothic biomechanical aesthetic of the hive, there hasn't been a single alien/sci-fi faction in a fps game that has ever matched this and I hope we could see more one day.
aren't we going to talk about in the concept art that savathun's throneworld showed a voluptuous hive baddie?
I guess they had to nerf down the proportions knowing how thirsty people already are and this would cause people to go even more crazy for the lucent hive
the new exotic mission is absolutely amazing but the last part is one of the most frustrating one's I've played.
like screw that hive knight bloke both metaphorically and lorewise
