If you care about the future of legal hemp in North Carolina, please take a few minutes to call or email your State House representative.
Regardless of where you stand on regulation, legislators need to hear from the people who will actually be affected.
Many of us support:
21+ sales
Mandatory testing
Accurate labeling
Child-resistant packaging
Licensing and enforcement against bad actors
The concern is that HB 328 goes much further than regulation and could effectively eliminate many hemp-derived products currently sold by licensed businesses across North Carolina, including THCA flower and numerous other products. That would affect thousands of jobs, farmers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and consumers.
Be respectful. Keep it personal. Explain how this bill would affect you, your family, your business, or your community. Legislators are far more likely to respond to genuine, individual messages than copy-and-paste campaigns.
Whether you support the bill or oppose it, make your voice heard before decisions are finalized.

The pay to cost of living disparity is too great to overcome here. We are making half what we could in almost any other market. Anything I should look into, be aware of, etc? Not really socially or anything like that; more economical things that I should be aware of.
