What happens if I just keep fly towards say, a water world after in pulls me out of super cruise? Does it do what black holes do and stop your ship or do you just explode.

I wasn't able to find anything with a search and really don't want to sacrifice all the exo-bio data I have right now

I have some folders of videos and images that I used gwenview to play as a slideshow, after updating to 3.8 all videos only have sound with on picture.

Any way to fix this?

I'm kinda dyslexic so some of these might be spelled wrong -w-

Since I updated, Elite has been acting weird.

Constant graphics problems, the game forced itself minimized and I had to close it through system monitor, the game will sometimes completely refuse to close, etc

Not sure if it's only this game or not 'cause it's basically all I've played recently, I've tried the sub for the game but nothing came of it

My Mandalay idles at 29 away from any stars, ~55 near one. Curious how cold some peoples ships run

I was looking to try out a HOTAS joystick but I'm not sure what brands are good or how many buttons and stuff I need, preferably no more than 100usd but I can go up to 150.

I'm also on linux so I don't know if there's any compatibility issues there
