Hello Ring folks! I've been working hard to eliminate surprises just like this one by not auto renewing subscriptions. I'm so glad I did! (Note: failures in the statement were card changes due to theft) Has everyone's plan gone up this much? Are you still planning to pay the subscription fees? I'm going to set up a VLAN and provision my own system before paying this price? What do you think?
My late daughter-in-law (49) was married to my son (50) for seven years. At some point, she became the Social Security representative payee for my adult granddaughter (31), who receives disability benefits.
We recently discovered that she appears to have taken approximately $7,000 from my granddaughter’s funds through a series of undocumented withdrawals. From what we can determine, much of the money was run through my son’s Apple Pay account and spent primarily on gambling apps and fast food.
At one point some money was returned, and her sisters also gave her money to replace some of what was missing, but she spent that money as well instead of restoring it to my granddaughter’s account.
My daughter-in-law has now died. She was physically disabled, and my son is both mentally and physically disabled. He says he knew nothing about what she was doing until after her death. There is essentially no estate; the bank accounts are overdrawn. My son is currently receiving about $200 a month in survivor/death-related Social Security benefits.
My granddaughter has the same brain anomaly as her father and has been receiving disability benefits for years. The good news is that after years of occupational therapy, she is now preparing to work full-time and move into her own apartment.
I have three questions:
This money would make an enormous difference to my granddaughter as she becomes fully independent, so I want to make sure we handle this correctly.
We are in Virginia, if that matters.
This morning I put on some pants so my neighbors don't think I'm nuts. They were too hot. The next 7 pair were either: too scratchy, too tight, too soft, no pockets, too many pockets and too itchy, too tight. OMG the sensory input was fierce today. Took my medication and hoping for a less frantic sensory experiences and to get shi! done. How do you cope with hypersensitivity?? Any advice will be taken generously.
Newspapers. Yes they still exist. No we're not reading them folks but using them to make our lives better. Find an old person ask them to save a week or so of them. Put them in your closet. The are an incredible resource! You can:
* Leave some in the closet to absorb stale smells.
* Crumple up a page and put them in your shoes after wearing or storing.
* Best hint - use them to clean your windows. Nothing works better and it's cheaper than paper towels.

Roast veggies before adding to a dish. Potatoes, sweet potatoes, beans (cooked and patted dry) asparagus, carrots...keep the skin ON the veg for added vitamins and flavor just wash well first - chop into small pieces, add olive oil (or butter and oil) mix well and bake 450° (or 176°) for about 15 minutes. Before baking - Season with whatever you are blessed with in the pantry - garlic powder, chili powder, onion powder, salt and pepper be generous for more flavor! shake it a bit halfway through and serve.
Here is a recipe for a filling, cheap meal that can feed 4 easily or YOU for 3-4 days.

My daughter in law (49) died on the 9th of this month. She and my son (50) are disabled. I've been taking care of my son since birth on and off his marriages. I am sorting out their many financial issues including the phone bill. Wife and son are very poor and she ran up the bill to $1000. We just discovered this when trying to settle their bill at the company store in Virginia. She had purchased several watches, phones and tablets to pay off over time. The rep never even acknowledged a bit of sympathy for her death, and her attitude was' take it or leave it' when we asked for a bereavement offer of any kind. She added penalties and extra charges for non autopay. I'm sorry if this is long but I'm at my wits end on how to deal with the fact none of us has the money to pay this and all our phones will be shut off soon. Has anyone had any luck with writing to the company and asking for a bereavement adjustment?
TL/DR: Son is responsible for huge family phone bill T-Mobile won't work with us.
Hello all you creative folks. I have a habit of buying random placemats to do crafts later on when they’re on sale I get them for as low as $.25 apiece all the way up to a dollar, but I never know what to do with them when I get home, these are really awesome paper crafted placemats. I’d like to make something with them, such as a wall hanging or a mobile piece of art anybody have any ideas? They perfectly match any wall in my house which is BoHo/cottage core.
I’ve had this plant for about 10 years. It’s my granddaughter’s. As she tends to ignore house plants I took it over for her and now it’s grown to be as you can see about 40 inches tall. It needs to be repotted (obviously) it fell down yesterday. I’m not sure whether I should repot it in full as is and also what to do with the babies down below. I believe they may be another species not from the parent plant. Any advice would be well taken and appreciated.
This app is not under my subscriptions. From 10/24/25 it has attempted 102 times to take out $2.99. I tried to keep my balance at zero, but they seem to sneak in as soon as I get money and take it I’ve changed my virtual card number several times they finally caught up with that. Don’t know how It’s owned by Green Dot Bank. I have written to! the developer at least 50 times. I have disputed it on my card that many times and more through the dispute this transaction in the Wallet app. This has gotten nowhere. Trying to get in touch with someone at Green Dot Bank is impossible as it only helps people that already have an account. The only thing left is to file with the consumer protection bureau. Does anyone have any idea what to do next? I don’t even use this app and I can’t find it anywhere on line. Thank you.

Recently Reddit has been logging me out frequently and is not displaying videos; shows previews but 'this video is no longer available' when trying to play). I have tried it in Edge, Chrome and FF with the same results (including old Reddit). Did a deep MalwareBytes scan and deleted the temp files. Reddit is very slow on desktop but not on phone. Win 11 on Dell. Could this be a network issue/corruption? Running EERO Pro6E on Amazon host. It also occurred to me that the US government is scrubbing Reddit for anti-MAGA activity. Edit:Punctuation
USA, 73f. I’m finding that one of the worst symptoms aside from pain is fatigue. It seems to be unending. I feel like I’m walking through pea soup and have to sit down every few minutes when I walk. I love to hike (small hikes mild terrain) and I’m considerably less able to do so. What suggestions do you have that have worked for you? I’m currently taking FOLIC.ACID and a B vitamin cocktail to help build new red blood cells.
Lordy Lordy, I have a dress that I spent approximately $.10 on at the Goodwill outlet store. I must have this dress for myself. I am a size 18 with a big bust and this little gem is a size 12. I’m posting pictures with various details such as it’s lined, it has good seam structure, which I’m willing to compromise and it’s the right length. Advice as to which seems would be the least offensive to change and add and also what color would you add to the extension(s)?
20 August we will be arriving to Rome from US. We want to see our family home in Veroli to spend half a day there. What's the best way to get there for 2 old ladies with suitcases in hand. Called for a driver service and they wanted almost $200 to go there. I haven't been back there for 50 years and don't know what's changed or available. What do you recommend? Ciao!

What are the most important qualities an annotator should have and where to find learning tools to further my career? Last Tuesday, my grandson was hit by a driver insured by Progressive. As far as I understand, the vehicle owner did not file a claim, so I called Progressive on Thursday to check the status and found out that nothing had been started yet.
Since then, I received a text from Progressive asking me to complete several steps through their app, including drawing diagrams, taking photos, and answering questions. Some of the questions also seem to be the same ones they are asking my grandson.
I just want to understand whether this is Progressive’s normal claim procedure. Also, who determines whether the car is totaled — Progressive, an adjuster, or us?

I’m dealing with a frustrating recurring charge from Live Wallpapers, an App Store app. I signed up for a trial and missed the cancellation window, but the subscription/charge does not appear under My Subscriptions in my Apple account, so I can’t cancel it there.
I’ve reported the charge repeatedly as an “issue with merchant,” but nothing changes. I also contacted the developer and haven’t received any help.
Apple says there’s nothing they can do because the charges are coming through Green Dot Bank. I tried Green Dot’s website and called them, but they require an account before you can even chat with support.
I even changed my virtual card number, which stopped the charge for one billing cycle, but then the charge started again on the new card. Photo below is just an example and not the total amount which is around $50 so far.
This is infuriating. Has anyone dealt with this before, or found a way to permanently stop these charges? This has gone on for TWO YEARS with no resolution.
