Can anyone recommend a game for me? Looking for a cozy game to make me feel something. I have a Switch 1.

Im newer to the cozy games concept but realize I 3 played a few of them.

I'd really.pile to play a new one (new for me), that really makes me feel some emotions, not just something relaxing.

It could be the story: something like beacon pines, where the chatacrts made me care about them & what they were going through, and also the overall story with the sense ways wanting to know what was coming next.

It could also be the gameplay: like breath of the wild where I was always feeling a sense one wonder at discovering something new. (I also grew up with Zelda since the 80's). The story, while simple, also had a grand sense, and feeling. A Short Hike and Lil Gator Game also brought out that same feeling.

Outside of sports and RTS games, Ive liked every genre I played. So I'm.open to anything, but really just looking for a relaxing game that makes me feel something.

Just bought a 2019 Escape. Is this engine ok?

My wife and I just bought a 2019 Escape. She was at the dealership doing everything, I was texting back and forth with her while she was there. I mentioned the coolant issue.

They checked and the manufacture date of the car was August 2019. Does that sound like we got the revised engine? It's a 1.5l l4, 86,733 Miles.

Thanks!

Looking at buying a 2018 Outlander Sport. Anything to know?

My wife and I are looking at buying a 2018 Outlander Sport. The dealership we saw it at just got it traded in last week. It's got just barely over 70k miles on it.

We weren't able to do a full test drive, only going around the parking lot (they have a huge one shared with a couple other dealerships). It felt good so we put a $500 refunding deposit to hold it. They said they needed to do their safety checks on it still, since they just got it in. We're planning on going back next Friday to do a full test drive once it's checked out. While only in the parking lot, it drove well. It accelerated fine, stopped fine, turned fine.

Is there anything more we should know or ask about before giving the 100% yes and making the rest of the down payment, while we can still get the deposit back if needed.

A neighbor who was calling the police and constantly complaining about noise.

So I had a neighbor in a side-by-side duplex. Our sides mirrored each other. The walls were fairly thin but we could barely hear them. The basement only had a large particle board separating the two halves. The attic was also shared. we each had stairs going up to it, but it was an open space. It was a finished attic that looked like it used to be it's own apartment. On our side was me, my wife, our 1 year old, our friend and her 3 year old.

I grew up in triple decker apartments in the city. I was constantly obsessing over noise, making sure we were quiet (within reason and still being able to live normally) for our neighbors. Soon after we moved in, they were calling the landlord to complain about noises: 1. they could hear us walking, saying it always sounded like we were stomping in heels. 2. they said they could hear people going up and down the stairs all night in the middle of the night (the only thing awake in the night was my cat). 3. the TV, at moderate volume, was too loud.

The worst noise complaint came a few months during the winter. They called the landlord to complain that they were hearing footsteps in the attic at all points of the day. They claimed that we had someone living in the attic. We did not. It was winter so it was probably an animal that got up there to stay warm. We tried to talk to them but they wouldn't respond. Eventually the landlord told them to stop and gave them our numbers (with our OK) so they reach out directly.

For all the noise they complained about, they had a televangelist playing a TV in the basement 24/7. It never turned off.

The police.. they called the police twice on us. The first time was about 5am. My wife had to leave very early that day. It was winter, she was going in and out of the house packing the car. At one point she was coming down from the 2nd floor with our 1 year old, slipped and fell down the stairs. She just slid down them on her butt, no tumbling thankfully. Aside from the kid crying, everyone was ok. She eventually left. About 20 minutes later two officers showed up. The neighbors called in a noise complaint and it sounded like I was beating my family. Trying to explain that your wife and baby fell down the stairs doesn't go over well. Luckily our friend confirmed what happened and the police left.

The 2nd time they called the police was a month or so later, about 2am. Our friend's 3 year old had a tantrum in the middle of the night. It lasted all over 5 minutes. He was calmed down quick and went back to bed. Not long after the police were at our door because they got a complaint of a kid in distress. We explained what was going on one of them said "Seriously? We got called here for that? Ok we'll just take your information and we'll head out."

As soon as the lease was up we moved out.

Is it really complicated?

I haven't listened to any of the shows since TBT ended. Did they really say "It's... complicated" that often? Was it serious or were they eventually playing into the joke of saying so often

Goodbye Bip 3. Hi Bip 6.

I've had the 3 for the last two years and needed an upgrade to let me send texts.

I love it so far. It's night and day better than the 3, that I already liked. All the new things to play around with are great. I'm not much of an AI person, using Gemini a little, but I'm surprised how fast Flow is to respond.

Can anyone recommend a good keyboard replacement? I don't like the stock one. No autocorrect or at least suggestions, no symbols and no auto capital at the start of sentences are annoying.

I also had no idea about the apps. Any good recommendations there?

Popular shows seems to come in waves. What wave are we in right now?

I feel like we go through waves of the big shows that kind of overtake the conversations.

Early on in AD popularity, Leviathan Chronicles and We're Alive kind of took over.

As that was winding down Welcome to Nightvale was starting up and became THE show.

As that started to fade from the main discussions, The Black Tapes and Magnus Archives started up, and The White Vault not long after that.

There was what felt like a short break, over the last few years we got Observable Radio, Forbidden Cassettes, Desert Skies, Tower 4, Mithsolme Museum and Occurrence in River Oaks. Those all took up a lot of the conversations I saw here.

Now that they're between seasons/finished, there's a gap in massive shows it feels like. Not that there aren't any great shows The smaller shows get to take center stage right now.

I took a bit of a break from laite ing to shows and wondering what wave were in now for THE shows.

Does anyone have any recommendations for training programs?

I'm at a nonprofit in Boston, working in the main call center. I've been tasked with finding a customer service and phone etiquette training program for my staff. All the ones I've found have been geared towards regular businesses, so sales and customer retention, etc. My team is to help people get around to the correct department within the company.

I unable to re-add an app to downtime

My kid has an iPhone 13, she entered the code to get more time on her own during downtime. Is there anyway I can re-enable that app to stop it from working?

It's specifically YouTube. I've gone into settings to make sure that YouTube is not on the approved list. I've turned off downtime and tried turning it back on. I can't get it back to blocked during downtime.

Looking for a tattoo of two stick figures with some color behind them.

I have these two stick figures I wanted to get tattooed. They're for my daughters, each based on a different dance pose (they're both in dance) The size proportions are off, not sure if that can be adjusted. They'll be fairly small when I get them.

What I really wanted to do was a splash of color behind each of them. The one on the left, I wanted to do with the colors on picture 2 (it's the dress she wore in her first dance solo, where the post comes from).

The one on the right, I wanted to do something similar the colors in picture 3. She's autistic and the rainbow often associated with neurodivergence. That's someone else's tattoo, that I was using for reference for the idea.

Thank you for looking!!

Not linking credit cards for just $7. Shouldn't this have a PII tag?

Kinsect Question

I'm really starting to get into 4u and wanted to go with the IG. It's one of my mains in Rise. I know they work different, but wanted to give it a shot. When it comes to the Kinsect, if I don't care so much about going for the perfect kinsect, is there just a generally good way to level them up? Is that just feeding them the speed things?

I'm going to be at a dance recital from 11am to 8pm. I'm bringing a few games with me to pass the time.

I have two dance recitals today for my kids, 1pm and 5pm but will be there from 11am to almost 8pm. I just replaced by GBA battery after years of non-use. Looking forward to playing these again!

Advice for my wife who's taking certification test

My wife recently got her Master's and will be taking her BCBA certification in July. She took it once before and didn't pass so this will be her 2nd attempt. Does anyone have any study advice they could offer? She doesn't do reddit, but I wanted to offer any help I could get from everyone.

Thank you in advance!

Question about expertise and reaching out.

I'm looking for therapy for the first time. It's been something needed for a long time, but I just never did.

I was looking through Psychology Today and saw someone who looks friendly from their picture, describes what I'm looking for, is located in my town (though I'd probably still do virtual because of my work and kids schedules).

One of the expertise's they list is Women's Issues. I'm not a woman. Is it ok to still reach out about an appointment, is that something I should ask when I first contact them? I'm really not sure how to go about it.

So I have the US Edge 2025. It's not bad. Camera is average, battery life is good, I get either lags or dropped frames from time to time, weird quirks consistent with Motorola. The real downsides are the chipset and Motorola update policy.

I was given a near brand new looking iPhone 13. I know it's 5 years old at this point, but the screen is perfect and the battery health is 100%. The pluses are definitely more consistent updates (it's got a year or two worth of updates left, comparable to the edge), and the much more powerful chipset.

The screen refresh down to 60hz doesn't bother me nearly as much as I thought it would and ios vs android doesn't matter too too much to me.

I was honestly considering jumping to it, but wanted thoughts from other moto people.

I had a Galaxy S23 since it launched. It recently got stepped on and smashed.

I was given a base model iPhone 13. It's in nearly perfect condition, no scratches on the screen.

After a lifetime of Android, how does the 13 hold up and anything good to know about the transition?

I'm in the US and recently.learned there's an also near me. My wife and I went to go check it out on our food shopping day and saw most of what we get was a good bit cheaper.

I noticed walking around that people's carts only had a small amount of items in it. We had our cart completely filled right up to the top. Enough food to last us weeks. One of the people working walked by us and said "Have enough?"

I felt a bit self conscious after. I would like to go back because we got so much more food for the cost but not if I'm being judged for it.
