Tag faded and I cant remember the name

The tag I put on this plant faded, and I cant remember the name. Google ID is telling me a few different things. Hoping you all can help out!

Lower light alocasia

We all know that cuprea tend to like a much more filtered/lower light than other alocasia or they become real divas. Are there other alocasia that prefer lower light vs the strong direct artifical light?

Why I am asking - I am setting up a shelf in my cabinet where the light is filtered through plants on the shelf above it. My Cuprea seem happy there (finally). But the shelf has lots of extra room. What other alocasia would appreciate the more filtered light?

They cancelled order, said it was my doctor - a lie

Basically, MD sent an order in, they were out of the med. So THEY cancelled it. Sent me an email with that info and that is what it says in the app. Fine- they have done this before. I called back a week or so later to ask for it to be uncancelled because the med is back in stock (which they confirmed it is) and they said they can't, because my doctor cancelled it. Which I know is a lie. They have reversed a cancel in the past when they did not have stock.

I would not be so irritated if they said "it has been more than X number of days so we can't reverse the cancel" but lying and saying my doctor cancelled it sends me over the edge. Then insisting that is what happened on the phone, despite what the app is showing on the screen. Customer service guy literally said "we did not cancel it".

To note, I have actually had my doctor cancel meds before when he decides to alter a dose, and that message says "it was cancelled by your doctor".

Of course, being able to talk to a person at Express scripts seems to get harder everytime I have to call them. Their robot is a bully!! LOL

Pink Micans

I know some form of this question has been asked multiple times, but I want to make sure I am doing the right thing.

I bought this as a rooted prop. It only had the one green leaf. She said it was a reverted pink micans aurea. It has grown well over the past 2 months, but only put out the 3 pink leaves, and looks like the next one is pink also.

I was hoping the first one would start to turn green, but it has not.

I believe I am supposed to cut this back to the original leaf and see if it starts to give off green again. Is that correct?

Anyone else hate the new mac and Cheese box as much as I do?

I have not purchased a box of mac and cheese for 10 years or so until this past weekend. I just wanted a hot dog w/mac and cheese for some reason. But, I really hate the new box.

First Hoya bloom

I have not had a hoya bloom before. Is this what this one looks like? Or will it open more?

And does it usually face down like this?

Verigated Prickly Pear?

Hopefully I am not posting a euphorbia again 😀

Is this a verigated prickly pear? And, it seems to like more water than I am used to for cactus. That arm in the back seems to get floppy really fast (every 2 weeks). I may remove and prop the farthest section of that arm because I am worried it is going to snap at some point.

Thanks for any advice you have!

My Mother's Day gift - plant shelves!

My plant collection has grown significantly over the past year. To the point I had to move a bunch of stuff around to be able to get to them all. For mother's day, I was given a way to reach, and display most of my plants. I am so happy!

Status update and questions

Update regarding the huge euphorbia removed from a home.

1st Pic the original plant.

Follpwed by pics of the largest pieces potted, including the main trunk. I may end up cutting some of those more, but they are good for now.

Pic of the rest I need to pot.

Question, some of the smaller pieces I am going to pot today, but I am not 100% sure which way is up on all of them. If both ends are cut, does it matter? And if it does, is there a way for me to tell which way is up?

Thanks for all of your help!

3 questions about this hoya

Hello, new to Hoyas, starting with a group of Hoyas given to me. I have identified most, but a few I am still working on, like this one. A few questions I hope you can help me with.

  1. What is it's name? I included a ruler so you can see how big the leaves are. It has been identified as a number of Hoyas, and a few non-hoyas by recognition apps. I have scrolled back though a year of posts on here, and dont think I have seen this one.

  2. Is this leaf just telling me it wants water? This leaf dying? No other leaves look like this.

  3. Are these protrusions peduncles, where I might get flowers?

Thank you!

I looked over at my watch chain today (which I love) and saw the tips bending. I could not figure out what I had done to make it unhappy. But, it is branching at the ends! Hard to get a picture, but I hope you can see it.

Is that good, or bad? It has been going through a growth spurt the past few weeks.

There are actually 3. One behind you can't see.

In picture 2, is the powdery stuff at the base of the pollen? Anything I should do with it?
