Is he implied to be dead?

Why is he not mentioned by the Bus tour guide when she introduced the Zoldycks to passengers?

He is Maha's Son and Zeno's Father.

So, yeah he is the grandfather of Silva. And great grandfather of Killua.

The fans keep calling him Garou for now. But he has no official name yet.

2013 Spring High Bracket (QF to Finals)

For those who want to track the bracketing from Quarterfinals to Finals in 2013 Spring High.

QUARTERFINALS

Inubushi upset #1 seed Itachiyama due to Iizuna's injury.

Fukurodani won a very tough match against Mujinazaka. (Yes, this will be adapted into a movie next year)

Kamomedai beats Karasuno as we all know. (Another movie for next year)

Then finally, the unknown teams. Ichibayashi defeated Hidawa in QF. (Nothing is known about Hidawa except its team name)

SEMIFINALS

Fukurodani beat Inubushi. While Ichibayashi Upset Kamomedai!!!

FINALS

Ichibayashi, guess what. Another Upset win against Fukurodani this time!!!

Champion: Ichibayashi

PS: Yes, we only know Hidawa made the quarters due to the bracket.

PPS: Take note, Ichibayashi beat the 3rd seed team too before quarterfinals.

u/VolleyBasketball11 — 18 hours ago

Do you guys think Ichibayashi is a decently known team?

Yes, I am talking about the 2013 Spring Surprise Champions.

I know they are not as known as Itachiyama and Inarizaki inside the universe.

But do you think they are decently known like Kamomedai and Fukurodani?

Or they are a total unknowns like Karasuno. (inside the universe)

2013 Spring Title Run: Ichibayashi defested the 3rd seed, Kamomedai, and Fukurodani.

So by 2014, I think they are known. But I meant before the 2013 run.

Avatar: Future or Past Avatars?

After Pavi. Of course we need fire avatar next to complete the cycle.

But after that, do you think avata studios/writers/producers will continue to create new/future avatars?

Or is it better for them to go the past route. And explore avatars like Salai, Gun, and Zalir?

If you have an Ace (who can play both spiker position), do you prefer him to be Outside or Opposite Hitter?

Usually, Outside hitter is more versatile. And need to be good (or at least decent) defender/passer. And of course, usually the sets are commonly going to him.

Opposite hitter is said to be "emergency spiker" when the outside hitter has no opportunity for attack. In his position, he doesn't need to receive/pass much. But he is expected to be an EFFICIENT spiker/scorer since he will be like an offensive specialist.

In the manga we see Aces. Some are Outside, Some are Opposite.

For those who knows more volleyball than me. Is it a big difference?

Is Outside usally the best spiker? And Opposite is the second best spiker? Or Vice Versa?

Are usual competent spikers able to play both positions or not?

Who is the best prospect in 2028 nba draft?

We talk about 2027 nba draft. And how it is relatively weak. But what about 2028? Is it more decent?

Aside from Hinata, who is the best player in 2013 Spring Nationals?

I know Hinata might not be really the best. But it is just to remove main character/protagonist bias.

I also didn't include players from Ichibayashi, Inubushi, etc for obvious reasons.

Yeah, I know they play different positions. But that is fine.

People compare different positions in sports lile Bakseball (PG, SG, SF, PF, C)

So, I guess it can also be applied to volleyball. Even if you are comparing players with different positions like Setter, Outside Hitter or Opposite Hitter.

PS: Ushijima and Oikawa didn't qualify for the 2013 Spring Nationals. But I wonder of you guys think they are better than these players.

Victor Wembanyama will be eligible for a $301,000,000 / 5 years contract if he wins a major award in 2026-2027? (MVP or DPOY or All Nba)

Yes, he only need to get one of those. And barring injuries, we know he is capable of getting it all.

His max extension will only start to kick in next season. Based on what I saw, he will get:

$ 251,000, 000 / 5 years IF he doesn't win any major awards in 2026 -2027.

However, he will get

$ 301,000,000 / 5 years IF he wins any of these: MVP, DPOY, or an All Nba selection.

SIDENOTES:

Giannis and Jokic will be eligible for max extension too this upcoming season. They are projected to be eligible for a $ 275,000,000 / 4 years contract.

Who is the best prospect in this 2027 draft class?

People are saying it is a relatively weak class compared to the 2 previous classes. But who is the best prospect in their class?

Is it still Stokes? Stokes is always mocked #1 in this draft class even a year ago.

Or others like Bruce Branch, Smith Jr, Joksimovic, etc are already catching up?

Who is the best prospect in this class in your opinion?

How about your top 3?

Theory: Itachiyama's other players are also great/good

Some people think they are a top heavy team. Reliant on their big 3 of Sakusa, Komori, and Iizuna.

But as the 2012 IH champions, and frequent #1 seed in both IH and Spring Nationals. I think their whole lineup is good. Just like Inarizaki, but even better.

Remember, Itachiyama beat Inarizaki 3-1. (Interhigh). And Inarizaki even got praised for taking 1 set.

Their Blocker (Jersey #2) is recognized by Tendou to be a great blocker. And their other (younger) players managed to win 2015 Spring Nationals in the future without their Big 3.

Yes, they lost in 2013 Spring to Inubushi due to Iizuna injury. So maybe that's why people are speculating that they are significantly weaker without Iizuna. That is somehow true. But they still made it competitive without their setter. And take note, we don't know how strong Inubushi was. (Fukurodani beat Inubushi in the Semifinals. But maybe it was close)

I think the main players in 2015 Itachiyama (Spring National Champions) were already in the team as freshman in 2013. And they are at least key players supporting Sakusa/Komori/Iizuna.

Now that Lebron is gone. Do you think Lakers can build a championship contender team around Luka Doncic. (Like Mavs Did in 2024?)

I think people are forgetting that 2023-2024 Mavericks Front Office (Before they lost their minds to do the Luka trade) personnel was able to put a championship contender team around Luka.

If you remember, Mavs traded for PJ Washington and Daniel Gafford that year. Just before the trade deadline.

2024 Mavericks Rotation

Luka

Kyrie

DJJ

PJ

Lively/Gafford

Hardaway Jr

----

Believe it or not. That team made the finals in 2024 season. The Mavs won the Western Conference. (And West is always stacked)

Now, do you think Lakers can match or do better in terms of surrounding Luka and Reaves the right personnel in order to contend for a championship?

2028 Olympics: Which country/countries do you think might give Team USA a hard time

POTENTIAL TEAMS

France - Wemby, Gobert, Sarr,, Risacher, Coulibaly, Traore, etc (They have a lot of upcoming players)

Canada - SGA, Murray, Barrett, Wiggins, Brooks, Dort, Edey, etc

Serbia - Jokic, Jovic, Petrusev, Bogdanovic, Topic, Djurisic, Micic, Kustorica

Germany - Franz Wagner, Mo Wagner, Schroder, Da Silva, Theis, Obst

Spain - Mara, Garuba, Aldama, Miller, Almansa, De Larrea, Nuñez

Slovenia - Luka Doncic, Jaxon Hayes, Stefan Joksimovic

----

The easy answer is France because of Wemby. And they also have. a lot of rising players.

But who else?

Do you think Serbia, Germany, Australia, Spain, and Slovenia will have a chance?

Canada can field a full roster of NBA players too. So they are another easy answer.
