Hey there! So I have recently started following my therapist's advice to sit with the anxiety instead of running from it by distracting myself (in example by using Reddit). Boy, this is so hard - is it supposed to feel like you are about to jump out of your own skin and make every intrusive thought true? It feels like a nightmare from the depths of frozen hell! 😬 Do you have any tips on how to better survive this stage?

Looking for bands from the 90s with a similar vibe to Blind Melon, available on YouTube - can you recommend something? Having an utterly sh*tty day and really need something to calm the anxiety. Please skip the well-known Grunge bands, I know them all (Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Audioslave etc.). Thanks in advance!
Man, what a lonely feeling. I have done a gazillion tons of work on myself these past several years, mainly when it comes to setting healthy boundaries. Which is of course great, but soon enough it turned out that the majority of close people that I had had in my life only kept me around because I had very little boundaries. As soon as I started setting the boundaries, guess what... poof, they were gone. And now I am in a weird place where I haven't really gotten to know any new people on a deep level and the old ones are gone - and sometimes I wish I hadn't done all this work, stupid I know! I know I am better off these toxic people, but it is such a lonely weird place right now. Ugh. 30sF
I have been wondering recently how realistic is it that one can find a person that wants to be in a purely monogamous relationship, both emotionally and sexually - and wants it by choice, not because of any religious pressure. I am talking no open relationship-thing, no polyamory-thing, no experiments-with-other-people-thing. I am asking from a perspective of someone who is not religious at all, it's just my personal choice that I want monogamy only. Has anyone felt as well like this is increasingly becoming a harder and harder thing to find?
