I'm trying out Brave and was wondering if I can delete everything except the Proton Pass Login. I want to clean up most site data but remain logged in to Proton Pass. Anyone have any experience with this?
I imagine deleting the Cookies and other site data will probably blow away Proton, but I thought I would ask.
it would be great to have the Edit-Find menu implemented like it is on most other Mac apps. I have enough authentication codes that I always need to find them. Much faster and more convenient than clicking in the search field and then finding. Or default the cursor to land in the search field.

I don't have an issue with Proton Mail or Pass per se, but I thought I would seek advice from this group. I tried to use a Proton alias (...@passinbox) for my Citibank contact info, but they wouldn't accept it.
They will only accept my actual underlying Proton address
I really don't want to expose my actual Proton address. Is there a way around having to use my actual Proton mail for Citibank? I thought about using a Duckduckgo alias that forwards to Proton but I don't want to rely on them.
All of my other banks and high-trust entities allow the proton alias. It's just Citibank.
I can add a passkey for Airbnb with my iPhone,
and on Safari desktop on my Mac. I can add one on android using the Proton app, but there I get an error message leading me to believe that it wasn’t created when in fact it was.
But I am unable to login using the created passkey. Has anyone else experienced this?
How can I get rid of folders such as Important, Purchases, and All Mail on my iPhone client? I’ve tried to suppress them on the desktop client.

Per the above, I am wondering what other people find to be the best mail client for gmail users. I have never really been a fan of gmail, but I am kind of stuck with it at this point. Before I retired, we used Outlook at work and I kind of got used to it.

I noticed today in my Mac Safari settings that the Pass plugin needed to be updated. This is the after-picture, but before it said "Update", not "Open".

I noticed that I have this file buried in the Brave Library folder on my Mac. These aren't my passwords. I'm curious about the purpose of this file. Can someone shed some light on this?

I am looking right at an email in my trash folder that I accidentally deleted, but the iPhone Gmail app search function doesn’t find it.
The Apple mail client is able to find it. Is this normal behavior?
I always delete, never archive, my emails.
I subscribed to a lot of podcasts on Android app. But every time I reset my phone or get a new phone, I have to go in and change the auto archive setting for each one. I consume a lot of news in. Most of them are set to Episode Limit of One. I don't want to Delete after 24 hours if for some reason I can't get to it, and some are hourly.
Is there a way to save the settings off to a json file so that I can maintain them locally and use them after I reset a phone.
Restoring from a backup does not restore the settings.
