My advice to people who saw "Worst doctors in Vijayawada" post

I get the intention of the post author. Many doctors & hospital staff, here, lack professionalism and are arrogant.

instead of making you relieved that you came to a hospital, you get more worried.

However, few replies made the post go in a direction where a person may feel that alternative treatments/pseudo scientific claims are true and can replace medical practice.

Please don't subscribe to that. Already we have enough Aged people who think, medical science itself is fraud (instead of bashing few doctors who take advantage) and has suffered heavily.

A 65 yr old, went to hospital for "acidity burn", and when ecg is done, it was abnormal. He refused to believe he has heart issue and walked away, and passed away after 5 days.

Another person was diagnosed with complete kidney damage 1 year after he refused to believe he has diabetes

There are many more examples I've personally seen. Don't believe in any treatment that doesn't have any credible research done on it.

If you are not satisfied with the treatment/behaviour in Vijayawada Hospitals, remember you always have the option to take second opinion from Big Hospitals in Hyderabad.

Yes, they are costlier, but they are professional and doctors are more competent

Hyd Hospital Ecosystem is so good that, even people from far away places like Maharashtra, West Bengal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Africa, Middle East and few Western Countries come here.

But please don't go against medical advice.

Is a switch from tier 2 consulting to tier 1 possible after some 3 yoe after Mba? What are the odds?

I specifically want to know those who got placed in tier 2 consulting firms being a passout from tier 1 colleges, who switched to tier 1 consulting over a period of time.

Also, what is the overall growth in salary, for a pass out from tier 1 college, Over 3 Years, 5 Years, 10 Years, including the starting salary?

I just want to know the trends. Thanks in advance and will be grateful for answers!

Nth time telling all the people who buy from Zepto

Please never ever order consumables, groceries, medicines, electronics from Zepto.

I & many others in this sub have parroted the same lines again & again, but people are still doing the same shit.

Don't get tempted by that crazy discounted price/free delivery charge or whatever financial incentive that tempted you. Please don't.

Many must have already know this, but saying it again. Zepto ensures low prices by buying in bulk about to expire goods or in worst case, from thrift stores when it's electronics. And their storage facilities are absolutely horrendous. So Groceries & edible items must be avoided!

Things to know before you get your home interiors done

I'm making this post to share my experience with Interiors & also what I've seen with friends/relatives to make gullible people aware of what's going on in this field.

  1. Before making any payment, enquire with at least 5-6 interiors guys.

  1. give the highest priority to that interiors guy with whom someone you know had a good experience.

  1. don't trust that random House tour video of your fav influencer praising some interiors person. it always ends up badly. it's all paid promotion

  1. Demand a detailed, final sheet, which clearly includes materials, specifications used, room by room along with their prices. it should also contain payment in installments schedule based on progress of the project. it should be like an agreement document. This is Mandatory

  1. Negotiate with other interiors guys comparing the price sheet. as a rule of thumb you should be negotiating for around 10% deduction of their quoted price

  1. Ask them to show the pics of their finished and ongoing sites. if possible, try to visit them and get to know the experience of other customers.

  1. Reject any interiors person who hasn't finished work in atleast 5-10 sites and less than 3 years experience

  1. Any delays or additional costs, usually happens due to the worker. most of the interior guys don't have a dedicated workforce, but they hire them. so these workers, may leave in the middle if they find better pay elsewhere, or deliberately delay your project so that they can find employment for more number of days. interiors guys rub all these losses on you. so prefer that interiors person who have permanent workers

  1. As these workers are hired, interiors guys usually shift them from one project to another after finishing some 30% work. this way your project gets delayed and they don't have to hire more workers. the solution for this is again, to prefer those who have a dedicated workforce, and pay your installments based on progress of your project.

  1. if the interiors guy is unrealistically lowering the price, and very enthusiastic to do your project after your inquiry. it's an immediate red flag. beware

  1. I personally prefer factory made boxes, instead of on site finish. Yeah, the interiors guy will tell you, on site means "better finish" that's not true, I've seen my friend's houses with horrible on site finish projects

Also because, the chance to inflate the prices is lesser in the case of factory finish, because of the reasons I explained before. And Factory finish boxes obviously takes less time to finish the job than the on site, which is completely in the hands of that worker hired by your Interiors guy

  1. There's also a part blame on you. most of us just go for that interiors guy who quoted the lowest price without considering anything else. be reasonable with your expectations. I've seen everyone who did this, got additional costs, project delays or cheap quality materials or poor finish. Consider other factors too before making your decision.

I'll explain what happened to my aunt, who took this approach in another post/reply if someone wants to know.

hope this is helpful

Have you also heard "Daikin is not good anymore" narrative? Then read this

This "Daikin bad, recently" narrative has blown out unproportianately. I blame myself too, because I was one of the earliest voices who said that

But, We've said this in the context of made in India models vs made in Thailand models. This is not just limited to Daikin! Even for Mhi or Me, the models made in Thailand are usually thought to be better than the ones made in India.

Just because Daikin shifted to India, it didn't became some "Midea" or whatever brand overnight. Daikin is still Daikin. It is one of the very few brands that makes their own compressor. So please don't be misguided.

Whatever the issues were about is same across all brands. The issue was about poor quality of made in India units wrt made in Thailand. Which is true across all brands, it can be mhi/me or any other brand.

So don't blindly believe half baked knowledge folks

My Review of Aayush Hospital

I want to share my experiences with this hospital, so people can know what to expect.

  1. Staff:

Right from Watchmen & Liftman to Nurses & Cleaning Staff, everyone treats you like a housefly. They are so rude & arrogant. Trust me this place is Ground Zero for all the Vijaywada Arrogance you see among normies.

Control your nerves & Be Calm, because this is not the time to pick fights.

  1. Doctors:

As far as the Cardiology Department goes, they behave just like the hospital staff. Rude, dismissive though a bit better than their staff. However in my view they do the best diagnosis & treatment of all hospitals in Vijayawada (debatable)

Overall get ready to be treated like a second class citizen

  1. They are money minded:

I'll explain this with an example, suppose if an in-patient needs a mri scan, they won't do it till evening. Why? Because they don't want Outpatients to wait during rush hours for Mri scan. Because if not here, Out-Patients can get it done anywhere right, that's their fear.

There are many examples like this. You can visibly see the frustrated faces of doctors & staff, if they know you pay through insurance.

But honestly, this point across almost all hospitals these days. So nothing unique.

  1. They don't create a positive vibe in the hospital:

All big hospitals ensure that attendants and patients stay in a positive mindset and create an environment/vibe in that way. But here they don't care about all that. One example is, Dead bodies leave through the main entrance. Imagine seeing that when someone you know is admitted inside..

My suggestion & Overall Take:

Look, You can trust this hospital if you only care about good diagnosis & treatment. They are good at Cardiology.

So in the cases where your near & dear, are in a cardiac emergency, you can go there. But after getting discharged, I'll suggest to take a second opinion, possibly at a hospital like Apollo Hospital, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad or any one you trust. But second opinion is very important

Hope this is helpful :)
