i’ve been thinking of getting this procedure and a body mod artist i follow offers it (i’m getting my tongue split with them in a few months), i thought it was mainly a plastic surgeon type of deal so i got surprised, would it be safe to get that procedure done by someone who technically isn’t a surgeon?

i’m getting my tongue split in eight months lol (the artist travels internationally doing body mods and they’re coming close to where i live during that time) what are some thing i can expect from the procedure, healing and etc, basically if you have anything to say about having a split tongue im willing to hear it!!!

just what the title says, i woke up late for work, got dressed and realised i got my period when i was getting here, it’s curently 11:00 am and i got here at 09:00, im not going back home until at least 22:00 because i have my classes after work, so ill be basically freebleeding during day 1 of my period🤡🤡

i’ve (20yo) been an atheist for as long as i can remember, but i recently found out about antitheism and i wanted to know if there are any good books in the matter, any recommendations are welcome:))

i’m getting my first tattoo and i really wanted to get a cat with some roses (personal meaning — not going to get much into it) on my upper thigh/hip and i wanted to see how it might look (also getting inspo for poses/styles)

my grandpa died when i was 16, i always wanted my first tattoo to be about him (i thought about it being a white rose because he planted some and i even took a bunch of them to bury him with them and i always bring white roses to his grave), preferably something in the old school/traditional style, i also had a 16yo cat that died when i was 17 and in that year after my grandpa passed he really comforted me because me and my family joked about how similar they were, so i thought that maybe getting a design with the cat and a rose would be a nice way to carry their memories with me

basically i’ve (20) been going out with this person (19) and both of us still live with our families and I get paid minimum wage and they get paid half of that in our respective jobs, i wanted to ask them out on a date where we would spend time together without spending a lot of money, but i can’t ask them to hang out at home because i live with my parents/sibling and they are in the same situation, i was thinking about asking them for a walk or something but idk if it would be that fun
