Manhattan streets are over but how are they in Brooklyn and the Bronx? Do they get crowded too?

Asked this to some friends and they said that parents have very different expectations of a non desi than someone of a different caste. Is this true?

Is it easier to bring home a different ethnic partner (mostly white or maybe East Asian) than a desi of another caste?

April may be more expensive but the cherry blossoms are there as well. October I heard is in between the humid summer and cold winter and less expensive, though flights from NYC seem to be similar prices for both months
