So im currently moving into an apartment, and as i work from home, id like a little buddy to look at Lol. So i was wondering one, is a vector worth it in 2026? I had a vector and cozmo when i was younger and loved the both of them. But i wished vector had quicker response time and fully intergrated ai, not one that took a while. I had originally ran vector 1.0 on wirepod after they illegally started charging a subscription to use the robot… Which was something. And also closes the servers..

But i see now that a couple people have mention viccyware, which im heavily interested in because it makes vector act like cozmo. And i LOVED cozmo for his playfulness, and always use to WISH that it was autonomous like vector.

So should i get a vector 2.0? How much better is that than the 1.0 i originally had but sadly got rid of :(

Or should i find a different desktop bot that is more interactive and has actual servers?

I just made a little ai home assistant to put it shortly. so i cant run it on github as it connects to chatgpt open ai and also stores data. but i need it running 24/7.

So im wondering if there is any easyish way to transfer it to the raspberry pi 5 and have it run off of that? while still connecting to open ai platform.

TLDR: Has anyone used their Thor as a Moonlight streaming device, but hooked up to the tv. Streaming 1440p 120hz? Or should I buy a mini pc to stream to for the best latency?

Thats the sum of it, but the reasoning is because ill be getting my first apartment. (Woooo!) And I was thinking about getting a mini pc to stream to my tv, since my tv doesnt have the best connection and debugging. But remembered I have the best device ever and since I obviously won’t be playing it if im playing on the tv. Made me curious if it could be my streaming device for my tv! Since it also has wifi 6e (i think 6e atleast).

But thats all, just a little rant on the side of my question!

Hey! I’ve always wanted to get into robotics, and now that i have some money to put into it, id love to actually take the time to learn.

I already have a rpi5, which i had used to make a Dual screen handheld about a year ago for class. (It was buns, im much better at 3d modeling now.) It was more of just a test to see if i could do it, since at the time all the options were 1000s of dollars before the ayn thor came out.

Anyways, Im curious in the best way to go about making a robot like Vector/Cosmo from anki. I had both growing up, so know all the features of them. And really want to make my own that is similar, but has more actual ai features to it.

So if anyone could guide me on where to go/buy that would be great! (Im also starting college soon and will try to take some robotics courses as well! :) )

So i’ve been looking into mmos (and or) rpg style games on the thor. but ive NEVER played final fantasy.

I love sword art online, and have always loved the idea of an mmorpg. And final fantasy looks like it would be really fun! Just, i dont know which is the best one for someone who has never played the games.

I was looking into ff14 for mobile, but the global hasnt releases yet. Any advice/help is greatly appreciated :)

**Why I am upgrading:** I Have a 48" 4k 120hz oled tv i use as a monitor (which was like 600$ but its amazinggg. And my little 5060 cannot keep up in games like spiderman, or minecraft WITH shaders.

Games I play/ productivity,

Mainly just Minecraft HEAVY MODS

Spiderman Series (Currently going through Lol)

And Fusion 360 (Cad Modeling)

+ 3d printing slicing softwares

And VR gaming as well.

Hey all! I just want to try to figure out what size would be best for my head, and also figure out if they will look good on me. As i have a 3d printer, does anyone know of a file i can use to test out the look and size of the glasses?

[community] This is coming from a buyers perspective. I've always been interested in making a minecraft 100 days video, but am curious on how much people pay editors for a video like that? Not looking for tons of sharp edits/3d animation and such or anything like that, just a nice long form video. With minimal edits, but still "professional"

What's the median/lowest/highest people pay for something like this.

Hey all! So a little background. I currently play on a oled 120hz 4k tv. (I love it, and it was only like 700).

Games I play are Minecraft with (HEAVY MODS AND SHADERS).

Plus some nice games like Spiderman, as well as some fps games.

More importantly, fusion 360. (CAD software)

My current build is a :

RTX 5060 8GB

r5 5600x (missing about 5-7 pins not kidding, dude is somehow still running)

a basic 450m motherboard (am4)

24gb of ram 3200mhz

M-ATX build

Was thinking about upgrading to a 9070 non xt, as i dont want to spend a whole lot of money but still want better 4k performance. and speaking that i need a new mother board and cpu since both of them are messed up. What should i get?

Not going to give an exact budget, as i dont have one. But I do not want anything crazy, and just want to get the best bang for my buck to have the 9070 work its best.

(+ Prefer to stay off of am5 due to ram prices being astronomical.)

So i got my unit today, and the ink set up, and both the prints ive done are sticky/tacky, and fail the tissue rub test. Is there a way for the machine to do extra curing? or maybe a cure kit i can buy?

I currently run a small business, and I need to be able to have a product configurator that can change 5 seperate parts of my 3d model (all seperate stls) to diffferent colors. PLUS be able to put an image on top of one of the models (I have uv maps for as well.)

Ive tried zakeke, and i had everything setup and it's nice. But it wouldnt let me switch it to shopify, and also on the zakeke demo it would NOT start the 3d configurator view in fullscreen. Instead it had it in a little small window. Which seems crazy as the basic month is 70$ plus shopify pricing too.

Any advice/recommendations?
