We all know we cant take our EDC inside some buildings, but have no choice but to leave it in the car, what car gun safe do you guys use? I have a car and not a truck so im looking for something that's somewhat mid-size that will fit a 2K11 Pro with SRO dot and SureFire XC3.
There's seems to be a lot of mixed and convoluted information floating around since midnight, and people out here talking like they're lawyers across multiple subreddits. People are saying many different things, such as you have to purchase from a qualifying vendor like Silencershop or purchase from PSA, and/or you have to be a member of GOA, and I'm just hearing different things, and I don't know what to believe.
So my question here is, can I go out and buy a stock and slap it onto my pistol right now without Form 1s? Can I go to my local FFL and buy a suppressor, SBRs, SBSs, and take it home the same day with a 4473? For context, my state (Alabama) is one of the 27 free states that DOES NOT have a state-level NFA law per Silencershop, but it is NOT part of one of the 15 states in the plaintiff.
Hopefully this post can clear things up for others who are in one of the 27 free states but not part of the plaintiff, not a GOA member, and did not purchase from Silencershop or PSA.
I know that the black colorway is only available on the Pro Comp and the 5-inch full-size, and the picture above is the pro comp version, but I would very much like if Kimber will ever offer this colorway to the Pro non-comp. Im suprised they dont offer it in black, as black is the most common neutral colorway for a gun.
I recently just sold my Shadow 2 full size, and have been eyeing on the S2Compact for EDC... Some people say it is not recommended to get this because it doesn't have a decocker and firing pin block, and not safe to carry it vs S2Carry. Also people say S2carry is practically a dress-up SP01 for $600 more, and crapola triggers, and overall seeing alot of people shitting on the S2Carry. If you do carry the S2compact, what is the best practical way to carry? My thought here is to have 1 in the chamber with the hammer back (when rack the silde), and I just gotta train to swift the safety off when drawing from the holster. If you have better advice on how to carry the S2Compact, please share.

I have a Japanese Akita who's on a strict salmon diet since eating poultry, and beef will get him itchy. I was thinking of switching from Purina Pro Plan of Salmon and Rice to 4 Health Salmon and Potatoes just mostly giving him a different option and give him something different since I could imagine him eating the same thing month over month can get him taste fatigue or flavor fatigue. I'm afraid switching to 4Health of Salmon of Potatoes or something else might give him an upset stomach or allergic reaction or itchiness, and was wondering if you guys feed your Japanese Akita this? What food brand or protein do you feed your Japanese Akita?
I know pure breed Japanese Akita tends to have a stricter diet and more specific of what they can eat and different tolerances compared to mix akitas and Americans akitas, but for caution, I just want to make sure.
When I was reading the letter from him at the Great Inagua of him being captured, I thought we was gonna go ride and save my boy, but only to come find out later that they were gonna hang him.. He gives off kind of like this fat, clumsy, annoying, and cringey kind of character at first, compared to Edward who is a badass and full of aura.... but over time he grew on me, especially when he said goodbye later in the story and got his own ship; overall of how he is I know he means well. Sad that they killed my boy
Im in the market for a Kimber 2K11 Pro, and Frisco Guns have a few that is listed at a reasonable price, and they got no sale tax outside Texas, I was debating on pulling the trigger. I just wanted to know if anyone here has bought from them before and what's the process like? It appears that they ship from warehouses, and that can take weeks, I suppose? Or they ship pretty quick?
I'm in the market for a 2k11 pro (non comp) for EDC, I'm looking at the 2k11 pro Eclipse specifically, as I want the MJD grip, and I just wanted to know what's the fair price to get it for? I'm on gun.deals and it shows a few online dealers but I don't know how trust worthy they are such as FriscoGuns, and or Good4Guns as they have it for the lowest, and I believe they ship from their warehouses and those can takes weeks? If you guys don't mind sharing what model you got, for how much and where?

47 hours in, sequence 4 memory 2, haven't even got the blowpipe yet, haven't raid my first fort yet, haven't unlock the third officer yet, with the Jackdaw maxed out before needing the diving bell to get the max upgrade plans, I've been doing everything and anything but progressing the story. Pro tip... Upgrade the Jackdaw much as you can, and go down to the hard regions and farm for the man of war and the 4-5 stars ships to get tons of reales and buy bones at the treasure dealer back in your hideout. I find this process much easier than going to Islands and cities and hunting animals for bones.. Faaarrr more effective. Good luck sailing🫡
I'm 45 hours in at Sequence 4 Memory 2, and I already got the Jackdaw at its max upgrade as the game allows as majority of the last upgrades to max level requires the diving bell to get the plans. I don't even have Blackbeard unlock. I maxed out the manor, and all hideout buildings, I also got the Master Assassin Outfit (yes you can get it this early), and i maxed out all of the crafting upgrades. I've been doing everything but progressing the story, I'm having soo much fun being a pirate. The moment I got the Jackdaw and access to open water I was exploring islands, opening chests, clearing warehouses, harpooning, farming 4-5 stars ships in the hard regions... Currently I'm grinding for the skeleton crew and need 206 bones.... Once it get that.. Then MAYBE I'll progress the story🤪. Haven't had this much fun with an AC game in 10 plus years... But if Ubisoft did a resynced for Ezio trilogy... It's an easy cashgrab for ubisoft... Just my 2 cents. Now im gonna get back to sailing the high seas and singing shanties.
I'm looking to sell or trade in my Shadow 2, and I just want to know some numbers so I can gauge. The gun have less than 1k rounds, good condition, I don't shoot it as much when I'm at the range as I tend to reach for my PCCs and ARs. Those of you that had the shadow 2, how much did you sell and or trade yours in for?

My first thought was to trade it for the Shadow 2 Carry, but after hearing some mixed opinions of how crappy the trigger is or how it's a dressup p01 for $600 more... it got me second-guessing, now im looking at the 2k11 pro comp as my next choice, what should I know before getting it? Also, is there a difference in getting the pro comp vs the non comp?
I'm looking into getting a shadow 2 carry as I have a regular full size shadow 2 in which i love shooting it but I can't EDC it, and since I don't have an EDC, I'm looking to get the carry version since I'm already familiar with the platform and ergonomics of it. What are some things to look out for? What should I know?

I'm looking into getting this MKE A3 stock for my SP5 and was curious on how it fits? Is it snug and tight? Do you need to tap it with a rubber mallet to get it on and off? And any machining or modifications need to be done?
Also for those that have the older batches that were made couple years ago vs the batches now that are made within last year and now, has the fitment and or quality has change? If you got it within this last year on your SP5? How are you liking it?

I'm looking into getting this B&T SQD RBS 9mm for my SP5, I have heard and seen that there is an issue with these wobbling and having rotational play when mounted, has B&T ever update, fix, and resolve this issue? Anyone here has it on their MP5? how has it held up for you?
Im interested in this can as I like the aesthetic of it with its all black and now practically all current B&T can line up are now titanium gray looking color, I dont think they even have any black cans anymore, Also this is cheaper than the newer Print-X titanium cans
It appears that the FRT-RD3 is only sold as a standalone cassette with a safety selector and 2 allen-key for installation, but in the installation video, it shows that you need the Ejector Lever, Ejector Spring, and Ejector Pin, so would you need to source on your own for the Ejector Lever, Ejector Spring, and Ejector Pin? I have an HK SP5.
Edit: If yes, where do you guys source the 3 needed items? is it something you buy individually? or you buy the ejector lever and it comes with springs and pin?
I made a purchase and paid with PayPal via Friends and Family, only to realize that I was scammed. I filed a dispute with my bank with Wells Fargo immediately the next day, 2 weeks has gone by, and today they have reversed and took back the provisional credit that they gave me. I immediately called them and they said that since the payment was made a third-party via PayPal that I do not have consumer right protection, and that the system automate rejects it.
After a quick research, I have seen a few recommendations to file a claim with the CFPB to get my money back, since apparently Wells Fargo is violating Federal Regulation E (12 CFR § 1005.11)
