Need advice for future job

Hey everyone! I need some advice. I suffer from endometriosis, ibs, depression, chronic back issues and a few other stuff. My health issues started at 8 years old and only got worse ever since. My education level is highschool. I tried multiple studies but my health wasn't good enough for me to finish those. The jobs i have had weren't official or paid. I had to help my father with his company for 2 years because his health wasn't well and he needed a few more years for his retirement. I have days where i cant stand or move. Everything i do gives me alot of pain. Im still hopeful on getting better and have multiple treatments that aren't covered by insurance. I am completely out of my savings and my government is refusing to help me financially since i never had a paying job. I have been looking for a job that i can actually do for over 3 years now. I need a job with a low education level, no traveling needed and no experience needed. As you can understand in today's world that is impossible so i was hoping to get some advice and information here. I am from the Netherlands if that helps.

Hakselaar

Hoihoi!

Livestock

Hey! I have 4 dwarf goats ( 2 castrated boys and 3 girls) we are not breeding the girls and wont ever breed them either. One has behavior issues and the other are mother and daughter and mom has stomach issues. We keep them on roughly 550 m2 of pasture from sunrise till sunset. They also have a stable thats 4meter by 2,50 meter that they can enter the entire day. They always have multiple clean water stations and one hay rack in the stable with good quality hay available to them. We clean the entire stable every 2 weeks as well. My goats their knees pop when they walk so i had them tested for cae and that test came back negative and the vet said they were very healthy and complimented us on their coat, pasture and the goats behavior.

I always wanted to have a bottle baby sheep. I think sheep are adorable and hilarious creatures and love how fluffy they are. The goats leave alot of the grass untouched so i thought that i could maybe get 2 sheep with the goats. Same size breed too. However i keep hearing completely different options on this matter. Some say the goats will attack the sheep, others say its a good idea since it helps the pasture and works against parasites. I don't know what to believe and trust anymore. I never had goats or was raised in an environment where it was normal that people had livestock so i have lots to learn.

If it would be fine to get sheep then what breeds do you guys suggest and what genders? Also 1, 2 or 3 sheep? Could they be in the same stable or will they need their own stable?

Also i planted 18 willows last autum that are doing amazing. I also want to plant 3 big trees in the goat pasture to build natural shade and give them snacks in autumn. What are trees you guys have or can advice me to get. My goats are 3 and 2 years old. I would like for them to be able to enjoy the shade from it before they are old lol

Picture of my 5 favorite idiots is payment for the advice. In tbe picture they were nervous cause we just bought home flamish gaint bunnies and they never saw bunnies before.

Sorry for the bad English im not a naitive speaker/ writer.

Good dutch aircon

Hi everybody! I'm looking for a good airconditioner that can cool my 45m2 house. I dont want a hole in my house to install one or with those tubes out of a window. I have 2 cats with asthma and a big fishtank that is currently 30 degrees when it should be 18 to 23. My animals really need it. Im on a small budget so a simple but reliable one would be perfect.

Dropsy

Can dropsy be caused by the heat? My goldfish tank is suffering alot. Alot of them have dropsy now. The tank gets upto 30 degrees. I have 2 of those bubble things for oxygen and put frozen water bottles in a bag with air in the tank in hope to cool them off. The water is good as well. I only have the lights on for 2 hours a day with this heat since the lamp also gives heat directly on the tank.

I literally don't know anymore what to do with them. Im doing a 50/50 water change now and will clean 2 parts of the filter.

All advice is welcome

Deet

I have deet that i put on myself against flies and ticks. It works pretty good and that got me thinking. Could i spray it on the wood outside the stable ( above where they can nibble) and maybe even on their necks? They suffer so much from the biting flies its really sad i tried all kinds of stuff but so far no success.

Is this normal?

Hey queens! Is it normal that directly under my navel it hurts like hell when laying on my back for a while or when i move to my side that it feels like it might fall? It hurts to even put my hand on it. I also feel like someone is stabbing me with a fork on the left of my stomach. It's pretty annoying lol.

Im on paracetamol and diclofenac and dont feel like they work.

Does anybody recognize this pain?

I'm pretty new to this all sadly so all advice is appropriated. Im close to the point where i want them to just take my uterus and cremate that thing even when I always wanted to have kids.

I saw my doctor last week and we ordered a mri to see if the endo grew. That mri still has to be planned.

Thanks for ur time!

New enclosure

Hey guys! Yesterday my 9 snails turned 1 year old! I got them a much needed upgrade since they have been living in a small terrarium most of their lives after the update they would have gotten when i moved broke and i couldn't afford anything bigger for a while. They are pretty big already and i think/ hope they are done growing. They now have a former gerbil enclosure. It has 2 glass shelves. One i will put their food in so i can spot clean this easier and the other shelf has wett spagnum moss in it. I'm hoping it will rehydrate and grow there. So now they have 10cm of bedding, a restaurant and a pool but it looks so empty. I'm looking for ideas to decorate their enclosure.

Also I'm wondering what kind of snails i have exactly since I honestly never knew. I got them all from someone who missed the eggs and gave them away for free in an old ice cream jar with paper towels.

Their new enclosure is 80cmx 50cmx 50cm and currently houses 9 snails. Is this too much or could i potentially add more? My area is full of snails who are free since they don't check for eggs often enough and i feel bad about them since they aren't kept in okay conditions since those people are overwhelmed.

Also is it weird that i never had eggs before? They always have sepia, clean food and deep litter with enough moisture that is around 20 to 23 degrees. Aren't they breeding cause they are siblings?

Sheets and clothes

Hey! What are your favorite brands of sheets and clothes that are actually sustainable? Im on a mission to only buy new sheets that have natural fibers but I feel like it is impossible to find something that is actually sustainable. I mean, cotton and linen weren't good, bamboo is too chemical, and wool is a problem in many cases. It feels like the more I research options to create less of a bad impact in this world, the more problems I find. So i was curious how everybody else was doing that.

Dead fish

Hi,

A few weeks ago i adopted 4 goldfish. Yesterday i noticed his scales were standing open/ out and this morning i found him passed away. All the other fish i have look great and completely unbothered so is it just life or do you guys think he was sick? He ate normally yesterday morning too.

I took the picture outside and after i buried him under a new magnolia tree i got last week so he has a nice peaceful resting place in my garden now

Aquarium stand

Hi! I have a nice cherry wood dressoir that i would like to keep as an aquarium stand for ky jewel rio 400 aquarium. The dressoir is 160cm long, and 48 cm wide. The aquarium is 150cm long and 50cm wide. Do you guys think the dressoir will be able to hold and maintain holding the aquarium?

Maybe if i take out a bunch of the substrate out?

I will only make the change when my fish pond is finished and cycled for obvious reasons lol

What are the best house changes you made?

Hi! What are some of the changes you made to make your life easier since you have been forced to live with chronic health issues?

My top three are:

Minimalism/ decluttering ( less stuff = less cleaning)

A strong cleaning schedule so not everything turns in a deepclean and cleaning moslty with dish soap and water instead of the heavy chemical stuff

Using a folding crate to hold laundy instead of those standing up laundry baskets. It saves space and when i just drop it in the basket its exactly one load of laundry. After washing I can fold it and put it clean back in the crate before putting it back in my closet.

Im still looking for more changes i can make so it will be cleaner and less heavy on my body to maintain so i would love to hear your changes!

Would it be possible

Hi! I have a 400 liter aquarium with fancy goldfish and i absolutely love plants and growing fruit and veggies in my garden. I was wondering if there are people who have an indoor aquaponics setup and if possible to keep it without having water dripping everywhere. For my aquariums i have one of those extern filters. Im thinking about growing lettuce and stuff like that in it.

I would love to learn more!

I need your opinion

Hi! I have been totally obsessed by quails for a few weeks and would love to own a nice group of them. I have been thinking about how i would want to keep them outside since we have a huge amount of preditors in my area. I have been thinking about a something we call in the Netherlands a konijnenflat (idk the English name sorry!) its preditors proof in my option and will bring them shade and everything i think they need. I have chronic health issues and i feel like a cage like this will be easy to clean as well and since its raised it might be less scary for them too. Ofcourse the Inside would be decorated with hides, bedding and snacks so they would be comfortable. Ill add a picture of one i found online so everybody can have an idea of what i mean. I want to build my own one tho. Storage at the bottom so i dont have to move everything all the time and the other 2 stories i want to connect so i can clean one side while giving them room to be comfortable if they don't want to be near me at that moment. Oh and maybe even have the entire front of a story to open completely so i can clean easier for them.

My question is if this enclosure is able to meet their natural behavior and how many quails i would be able to keep per m2.

Thanks for your time! I would love to hear from the pros 😉

How deep does it need to be

Hi everyone!

I can finally start building my fancy goldfish pond. It will be part in the ground and part above it. I dont know anything about ponds otherwise then that i used to love feeding my grandpa his fish in his pond when i was little.the pond will be 400cm or 800cm ( depending on some pipes in the ground) and 120 cm wide. I live in the Netherlands and i will not be able to keep outdoor goldfish inside since my 400liter aquarium is already a overcrowded mess and when the goldfish move outside i want to be able to adopt new goldfish and keep them in quarantaine or overwinter them inside before they get to a size and season where i would be comfortable moving them out.

I was thinking about 80 to 100cm deep but i also heard that 120 is better. Also i heard people use pond covers for winter months or use heaters all year round. Is that recommended and have people experience with it?

I would love to know everybody's opinions, all advice is welcome me and my fishies need it alot!
