Is it just me or does Troyo have some serious untapped "Tumblr Sexyman" potential?

I'm surprised that there aren't more furries gushing over him at least. By Tumblr Sexyman, I'm talking about characters like Spamton, The Once-ler and Bill Cipher. Once you get past the fact that he's a talking magic coyote, he's got an aura that basically screams Tumblr Sexyman.

Also, with how theatrical his personality is, I'm shocked he never got a villain song. If any antagonist in the show deserved a musical number, Troyo would be at the top of my list. He shoulda had one in his debut episode instead of the jacquins.

PSA: Don't just upload your stories to Wattpad

Wattpad pages cannot be saved to Archive.org and if Wattpad decides to delete your work, it's as good as gone unless you have crossposted it somewhere else. For those of you with Wattpad accounts, I recommend you also get an AO3 account to crosspost your work on.

I've read some stories on Wattpad that I really enjoyed but couldn't find them anywhere else because they got deleted and ended up as lost media. Do your readers a favor and spread your work to other sites so they don't end up getting lost.

(Loved Trope) Dog breed gender stereotype inversion

Not sure how to explain this trope exactly but you know how there are some dog breeds that are portrayed as almost always male or always female in fiction? Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Dobermans, Dachshunds, etc are male while female dogs are usually portrayed as Poodles, Rough Collie, Salukis or Irish setters? Well, I like it when that gets flipped on it's head. I know there are some dog breeds that swing either way when it comes to female or male characterization like huskies, chihuahuas and dalmatians but I'm talking about inversions of breeds portrayed as "always male" or "always female".

Here are some examples:

  1. Roxy (101 Dalmatian Street) - Female Rottweiler

  2. Fluffy (Bunnicula) - Female Doberman

  3. Shep (Horseland) - Male Rough Collie

  4. Wilson (Ginga Nagareboshi Gin) - Male Rough Collie

  5. Leonard (Secret Life Of Pets) - Male Poodle

Are there any Anthrostate stories out there that subvert the main premise by having a gay protagonist?

I think it would be interesting if there was an Anthrostate story about a gay human male protagonist who wants to hook up with an anthro of the same sex as opposed to a female one. For those of you familiar with Anthrostate universe, has this concept been explored yet?

Fried otter nuggets and chocolate credits cards full of vanilla ice cream.

Had a dream years back where Zee from the Total Drama reboot was the mascot of a tex-mex arcade restaurant chain exclusive to Minnesota and North Dakota. The place was best known for serving fried otter nuggets and edible credit cards made of chocolate with ice cream filling. There were large TVs in the restaurant that played commercials of Zee dancing around and promoting the fried otter nuggets but I was more interested in the edible credit cards.

What 80s songs do you often see on hated lists that you unironically love or enjoy?

We Didn't Start The Fire: I am genuinely BAFFLED that this is considered Billy Joel's "worst" song. It's an absolute bop and like my 2nd favorite of Billy Joel's hit songs next to the criminally underrated I Go To Extremes. In my opinion, I just can't stand Uptown Girl and I've gotten very sick and tired of the overplayed My Life (which I used to enjoy but not so much anymore). We Didn't Start The Fire just slaps. I think I'd like it even better if the official lyrics said "Turtles in the sewers" for a TMNT reference instead of "Trouble in the Suez", though. That's my only gripe with it.

Jefferson Starship in general: Not the biggest fan of We Built This City but whenever someone brings up Starship, it's to bash on that song while ignoring actual gems like Jane, Find Your Way Back and Laying It On The Line. Sara is an overlooked killer ballad and Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now is guilty pleasure pop perfection. Starship is one of the most over hated 80s bands IMO and all cause of one song.

Everybody Have Fun Tonight: Again, shocked to see this song on hated lists. It's a total bop and I'd rather listen to it over most modern rap, top 40 radio or bro country.

Would the odd formatting of my story be poorly suited for a paperback?

Currently, I'm working on writing a novel but the format of it is a bit strange. It's heavily inspired by Survivor, Big Brother, Total Drama Island and especially Disventure Camp. 20 chapters are planned and in most chapters, a character gets voted off. I've noticed that paperback stories tend to sell the most copies but I'm not so sure my story would translate well into a paperback and would work better as an ebook because of two things:

1: Character confessionals. I've currently written like 13 of the 20 chapters and the story can get fairly confessional heavy, especially in later chapters. I often use confessionals as a tool for scene transitions in my story. Confessionals look like this in my story:

*Static*

CHARACTER: This is a confessional. I am sharing my thoughts in the confessional.

*Static*

2: The "drumroll" before a character gets eliminated: I'm not sure how I would work this into pages in a paperback. I like building suspense before an elimination, particularly if it's a shocking one where an unexpected character gets blindsided but at the same time, I don't wanna cut down a rainforest because like 16 of the 20 chapters have eliminations in them.

I know this story format works better in an animated series than a book but I'm too broke to do things like hire animators and voice actors and stuff. I'm generally more confident in my writing than my art.

I still have 7 chapters that I still need to write and have proofread but so far, I'm happy with how my story has come out. So what do you think? Would my story be poorly suited as a paperback and best worked into an ebook for the above reasons I've mentioned?

Once the miniseries airs, do you think official plushie merch of the characters will drop?

Because Jack is EXTREMELY cute and marketable.

So how would you feel if this was the elimination order from here on out and Benji was the first ever winning returnee?

Hot take but......Lorna Doones in coffee are better than Oreos in milk.

Also, Mint Milanos go great in coffee, too. Who else agrees?

Had a dream about some "childrens cartoon" that was about a demented gopher with a foot fetish.

He was a gopher named "Toe-pher" and this is how the theme song went. Basically, he was Mort from Madagascar on crack and was obsessed with human feet to the point where he removed his own eyeballs and had them replaced with severed human big toes. He would run around excitedly just like Mabel when she first got into her robot beaver body in Hoppers and he would sniff a bunch of human feet while letting out demented high-pitched cartoon rodent laughs. A bunch of angry parents complained about the cartoon and a woman who looked like a stereotypical old hag got it cancelled.

This was the image that was used and I remember hearing the story on Youtube. Can anyone help me find it?

So what's the verdict about Pizza Edge?

I'm not Navajo and haven't been on any reservations in or around the area but I was messing around on Google Maps and found out there's a pizza chain almost exclusively in the Navajo nation called Pizza Edge. So, what's the general verdict about Pizza Edge among the locals? Where does it stack up against Domino's, Pizza Hut, Little Caesars, Papa John's, Round Table, etc? Is it good or bad? What's the quality like? Maybe cause it's so regional, I don't see it brought up with many pizza chain discussions or tier lists.

What lostwave song are you shocked ISN'T solved yet?

For me, I'm gonna say Understand Commitment. It sounds fairly modern and is probably from the mid 2000s at least cause of the "staring at my phone" line. To a lesser extent, Poor Christmas, Forgive And Forget and Trip To Rio.

Did anyone else feel bad for Od Dog here?

I just wanna give him a big hug and some headpats. I feel like this short scene is overlooked.

My prediction regarding Raww's characterization from Forgotten Island

I think there's an extremely high chance Raww will be this type of character based on his description alone. I know the movie is mainly about Jo and Raissa but I'm really hoping we get a tearjerker scene centered on Raww's insecurities where he opens up to one of the girls about his issues. I feel like a lot of hate and distaste towards him will die down when we see him at his most sympathetic and vulnerable.

Also, for those thinking he's gonna be some twist villain, keep in mind that there probably is no twist villain in this movie because "The Dreaded Manananggal" is confirmed already to be the actual Big Bad of the story.

Had a dream last night that "Piss-coded Mister Rogers" became a meme.

Not sure what software program to use to recreate it but it was simply an image of Mister Rogers with a yellow filter on it titled "Piss-Coded Mister Rogers".
