A few things I just wanna vent and rant about

For starters, I wish they would have put more thought into these packs. I really wish they weren't so damn greedy too because realistically Parenthood, Growing together, and High school years could have been one pack, hell, even Adventure awaits could have been in this pack with the summer camp and stuff. A lot of packs could have been combined into one.

I always felt that when games make "sequels" that the sequel should have everything the previous game had and more. Sims 4 should have had most of what sims 2 and 3 had from the beginning instead Sims 4 felt like bare bones which is sad considering how old sims 2 is and how much more life sims 2 had.

More story driven packs! I liked strangerville just fine but I don't tend to replay it because it gets tedious. High school years, University, Royalty and Legacy, Enchanted by nature, realm of magic, Vampires, Werewolves, all could have been story driven and they easily could have put story driven elements in games like Get to Work, business and hobbies and For rent.

Speaking of.... get to work, business and hobbies, dream home decorator and for rent all could have been one pack. Also, why did they give us the option to be a police officer but not firefighter?

A long standing "beef" i've had with all sims games i've played is why don't they make every in-game job an actual job? Like why can I hire a nanny, maid, butler, order delivery, call the fire department, repairman, vendor, curio shop owner, etc. but my sims can't have those jobs? I can be the freaking grim reaper but i can't be the pizza delivery guy?!

High school years and University should have had more correlation. Why does University have soccer and E-Sports and High school years has Football, chess, cheer, etc.? Why wouldn't they have added those options to university after high school years was made? Why didn't high school years have cliques? Why didn't university have sororities and fraternities?

That's everything thats been bugging me lately.... feel free to add to the list of grievances lol

What would call Sookie's style?

I've been trying to find similar looks and I have no idea what I would even describe her style as that would actually get me the results I'm looking for if i was to google it or look it up on Pinterest or something.

Sookie Stackhouse CC?

Hey! So I've always been super into Sookie's style from True Blood and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get some CC that looks similar to things she's worn in the show.

Thanks for any help!

People going on a post about a certain topic just to complain about people not talking about a different topic

I'm so tired of someone posting about A and someone has to jump in and be like "Well what about B?!"

Someone makes a post about a character named Alice. The comments are discussing Alice and maybe not in a good light.

Someone always has to comment "well what about Betty? No one's talking about betty!"

Yes, well you see its because this post is about Alice, not betty.

Someone: "well no one ever brings up betty and she did way worse stuff than alice!"

Once again, tbis post is about Alice. Not betty. Betty is not being discussed because we are discussing Alice and only Alice.

Someone: "Yeah, but betty—"

THEN GO MAKE A POST ABOUT BETTY! GET OUT OF THE ALICE POST AND GO MAKE ONE ABOUT BETTY IF YOU WANNA TALK ABOUT HER SO BAD!

I seriously dont understand how people think if you talk about one thing then you HAVE to talk about it all. We could be talking about mcdonalds and someone will say "well burger king—" WE'RE TALKING ABOUT MCDONALDS!

Would you want to see a version of death note from someone else's POV?

I always thought it would be interesting to have watched death note without the knowledge that Light was Kira. I know a lot of people have mentioned wanting L's POV but I honestly think I'd love to see one from Light's dad. Investigating a mass murderer and realizing its your kid and hes using your own resources to do it? That'd be wild.

When you are talking about something that happens in a show/movie/anime etc. And someone says "Well that didn't happen in the book/comic/manga" as an argument

this drives me absolutely insane. The amount of times I'll be having a discussion with people about something that happened in the show or whatever and someone has to chime in with "well in the xyz that didnt happen!" I DONT CARE! WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT THE SOURCE MATERIAL! LITERALLY WHO WAS TALKING ABOUT IT? JUST YOU! the rest of us know its different and are specifically talking about the show! The show/movie/anime is its OWN CANON. Your argument is not more valid because you are using the source material for this because its irrelevant here.

And the people who do the "tell me you didnt read the book/comic/manga without telling me" and its like dude you dont need to read the original in order to discuss the adaptation based on it. If you wanna discuss the original go do that but stop hunting for people who are happily talking about the SHOW.

Person A discussing the show: "i love that these two characters are best friends!"

Person b: "they aren't best friends! In the books they hate each other!"

GOOD FUCKING THING WE AREN'T TALKING ABOUT THE BOOKS THEN!

If you had to pick a different season to end on, which season (besides the last) do you think was a good stopping point for the show?

Out of curiosity. I know a lot of people do not like the final season(s) and i was curious what you guys think would have been a good stopping point if the series ended sooner? What season seems to wrap everything up satisfying enough?

How different do you think things would be if Sam and Dean's dad was someone like Rick Grimes?

Like many, I can't stand John Winchester or even Mary for that matter and recently I saw people talking a lot about the walking dead and how great Rick is etc. and personally I also love Rick Grimes and it got me thinking what if Sam and Dean had Rick for a dad?

Now, this is just like a fun little idea I had and it is not meant to be taken super seriously at all. I just got curious enough to see what others thought because I feel like its something I find myself doing a lot, especially with Sam and Dean. I always wonder: "if they were raised by xyz, what would have happened?" So yeah, curious to know your guys' thoughts. Just figured it could be something fun to think about and discuss is all.

EDIT: It also just dawned on me that there's a pretty good chance that if Rick was their father, Will Harvelle wouldn't have died. I also think that Rick wouldn't have died when/how john did and probably would have lasted the whole show or at least pretty damn close lol

Is the algorithm messed up?

It seems like every time I heart a video on a certain topic where it's a positive piece on the topic my for you page becomes nothing but hate for that topic . For example if I heart a post about a fictional character that I like, it feels as if the rest of my for you page becomes how much the character sucks etc. Does this happen for anyone else?

What do you think of paralives so far?

I’ve been thinking about getting it but also I’m not sure if it lives up to the hype or if I should wait for updates etc. so the people who have it: what do you think? Was it worth the 40 bucks? Also does anyone have any other game recommendations for life simulation?

edit: I jave scrolled through and read other posts but they were very mixed so I figured id make my own and see what the most current consensus is. idk why that seems so upsetting to people. if you dont like my post tou can literally just scroll past it. im literally just asking an innocent question and I will block people who just want to comment rude and unhelpful replies

Jane and Lisbon

After Jane and Lisbon get together she starts to feel kinda OOC. They both do, but more so Lisbon. When they have to work with Erica again Lisbon gets upset with him that he never told her they had a moment or a kiss or whatever *years* ago before he and Lisbon were even into each other or in love. I find that so odd that she is upset that he didn't tell her about it. Why would he? And I find it hard to believe that earlier seasons Lisbon would even care.

Another example is when he plans a trip for them for a weekend and he is all excited for a romantic rustic getaway and she immediately shits on it saying she wants somewhere where they put mints on her pillow so he changes everything for her and she doesn't even *try* to do what he wants or compromise. He just says "i'll find a tree."

Then again in another episode he needs space and time away from the FBI and she gets upset that he doesn't answer her calls when he told her he was leaving with or without her. She gets upset that he lied to her on a case to protect her which is totally valid of her but then for her to think that he is *jealous* of her job was wild. He literally had to explain that he wasn't jealous and that he was just scared to lose another person. She gets upset at him and pretty much kinda implies that this is her job and gets upset at him for lying to her and she says i don't know what we do about this and he says "we talk through it" and she huffs and leaves without talking at all.

Then he wants to get a cabin to fix up and she immediately shits on it. This just doesn't feel like the Lisbon of seasons 1-4 at all. I love Lisbon and I love Jane/Lisbon but this being their relationship dynamic now is kind ridiculous

EDIT: She did it with Mark too. He excitedly asks her if she wants to watch Casablanca with him after learning shes never seen it and her reply is the most bland "sure, yeah, whatever."

So I was watching season 5 episode 22 and when lorelei is reading off the names of Jane's suspects, Thomas McAllister is the only one she gives a title to. Sheriff Thomas McAllister. She doesnt say anyone else's professions or ranks or anything. Serial killers are usually pretty narcissistic and we know red john is so im wondering if that was a slip up on his part that he couldn't help but include his rank while just listing the names of others...
