Yesterday I saw a car that had a sticker of an Iron Cross on it and the text 'Verdun' beneath it. This seemed to be condoning the WW1 Battle of Verdun. This of course was a horrible event where many people died, and I wonder if such stuff is allowed, because it seems awful to me.

Hi, I'm a Belgian and I'm currently on Holiday in Germany. A friend is coming over to where I'm staying and -as teenagers will- we're going to use this visit to watch TV and play video games. But I watch mainly WW2 content and play War Thunder. My family, who's been to Germany a lot say I must never mention the World Wars to Germans. Are they right is it not a problem if I show off my German lineup to my friend and watch some WW2 videos with him?

So I made a new sub called r/WarThunderButNotToxic. Feel free to join, also anyone who applies as mod will be accepted. Let's hope this sub stays true to its name.
I invaded Poland and the Baltics, and after our ally Libya left and stabbed us in the back I got France in his place. We're making good progress in the war and I've done landings in North Africa, succesfully capturing Tripoli. Now further advancing into Libyan terrain while about to destroy Estonia. Any advice for me to continue?
Also don't mind what's going on in Eastern Europe, we had some weird rebellions and expeditionary forces
When I made my post on Valentine's Day I thought my family situation had hit rock bottom. Well, guess I was wrong.
Recently, my mother's been in on anti-cancer conspiracies. She's been splurging enormous amounts of money on all kinds of filters, herbs and lots of fruits and vegetables. Apparently she thinks a disgusting juice mix of blueberries, celery, ginger and (I kid you not, she actually juices those) nuts will 'protect me from cancer'. She's also started 'singing' some song. And I say it that way because she doesn't sing it. She just goes to my room at 6AM and starts moaning the lyrics without following the melody at all. We also have this little thing where I pull out her white hairs and then she gives me 30 minutes of extra screentime (normally I get 90 minutes a week). During my exams she let me pull out less and didn't reward me because I had to study. But now I've finished my exams she keeps denying me my reward. So I got angry and she told me to go outside and touch some grass because I'm 'becoming addicted' (from an hour and a half spread over 7 days?). This of course fueled my anger and when I went to the garden I slammed the back door. She responded by following me outside to attack me. Scratching my arms, hitting me, pulling my hair. Then she grabbed a garden tool and started hitting me with it. Then she was about to hit me hard on the head with it, but she stopped herself and broke down crying, saying she doesn't want to hurt me. Yeah, I'd believe that if I just got beaten up and almost had my skull bashed in. She tells me to hug her if she's angry but when I do she hits me. I have no escape and just need to tolerate it. All I can do is tell my story and ask for emotional support.
