Je suis en vacances a Avignon, mon copain a besoin de la voiture la journée. J'aimerais aller me baigner (rivière, lac...) connaissez vous des spot baignade accessibles a pieds? Je suis prête a marcher un peu (1h max) ! Merci beaucoup pour vos conseils !

Je vis a Paris, un magasin juste à côté de chez moi faisait des tomates de plein champs mais il n'en fait plus depuis deux trois ans. Du coup je recherche désespérément un bon plan tomates pour me faire des salades et des conserves pour l'hiver.

Si vous avez des adresses de tomates qui goûtent autre chose que la flotte dites moi ! J'ai l'impression que c de plus en plus difficile d'en trouver !

Jprécise qu'évidemment je prends pas des tomates grappes et que je ne les met jamais au frigo!

Je suis éducatrice et je travaille en protection de l'enfance depuis 2020. J'ai travaillé plusieurs années en internat (MECS (Maison d'Enfants a Caractère Social = les foyers de l'enfance), et plusieurs années dans les bureaux de l'Aide Sociale a l'Enfance (ASE), auprès d'enfants de tous les âges, et leur familles.

Précision : de par mon activité pro en protection de l'enfance, je suis soumise au secret professionnel. De ce fait, et aussi par respect pour les personnes que j'ai accompagnées, il va de soi que je ne donnerai aucun détail sur les situations personnelles et familiales que j'ai rencontré au travail ou encore sur le lieu précis où je travaille.

Bien sûr si d'autres pros du secteur sont dans la discussion sentez vous libre de réagir aussi et de participer ! On a tous des regards différents sur notre travail. Je ne travaille dans le secteur que depuis 6 ans en plus donc ce n'est vraiment que mon point de vue/retour d'expérience perso.

Apres 3 ans d'horaires de bureau, je vais reprendre un poste en décalé dans un foyer pour enfant. Les horaires tournent entre des matinées (7-15 ou 7-16) et des journées où soirées (11-21, 13-22...). Je n'ai pas de nuits donc (heureusement) mais des levers assez tôt ce qui est dur pour moi.

Avant ça j'ai déjà été en horaires décalés mais c'était un peu plus souple, j'appréciais avoir du temps pour moi en semaine. Mais j'avoue que depuis que je suis passée en journée je me sens 10x moins fatiguée et mon rythme de vie est plus agréable.

Du coup j'appréhende un peu ce changement je me demandais si certains ont des conseils pour mieux gérer ce type d'horaires ? Je précise je n'ai pas de vie de famille etc.

Hello, je ne suis pas du tout le foot hormis parfois qques match de la France donc je j'y connais rien. J'ai suivi assez assidûment la coupe du monde cette année et j'ai essayé de m'intéresser un peu plus ! J'avais une question sur le deuxième but annulé de l'Espagne en finale. Le premier si j'ai suivi a été annulé pour hors jeu ? Mais le deuxième c'était lié à une faute que je n'ai pas compris. A la télé le commentateur a parlé de faute de main ? Mais on voyait aussi les joueurs se toucher du pied. Est ce que qqun pourrait m'expliquer la faute ?

Als Kind war ich oft in Deutschland. Ich habe eine Leidenschaft für Pausenbrote, für die kleine Brotdose, die man mit in die Schule nimmt und in der ein ganz einfaches Salami mit Käse auf Schwarzbrot liegt. Oder mit Gurken, tomaten, Salat...

Ich hab r/pausenbrot gegründet. Zeigt gerne die Pausenbrote, die ihr für eure Kinder oder für euch selbst macht!

I used to be a very anxious person when i was a teenager. I also have a very big fear of conflict. I use to avoid conflict at all costs, even if it would sometimes generate more conflict in the long terme lol.

After a lot of therapy i'm feeling way better now, no panic attacks since a few years, i'm better at expressing when i don't agree with something. But sometimes it comes back when someone is angry at me for no reason.

Today we had a bit of a drama (on WhatsApp) in the band i'm playing with and it made me cry a lot eventhough i'm in the train for vacations ! The drama was directed at me, one guy was angry for a silly reason but the whole band agreed with me and i know i didn't do anything wrong.

So why does it make me panic so much and cry ? At work it happened to me as well, someone talks to me in a harsh way, i will cry for sure. I even had to tell my boss "don't worry about me, i just cry a lot, it's my emotionnal response" bc she was worried.

Also i think it's related, when i have a serious talk (at work, with me friends or BF) i always cry and feel overwhelmed by me feelings, which makes me unable to talk about this while it's happening. I always need some time before i'm able to organize my thoughts better and have another discussion about it

Anyway i'm just wondering if other people that (used to) feel like this could share some insight that helped them regulate their feelings a bit more

I'm a social worker in France, i've been working in CPS (either foster homes or more office-based jobs, working with parents...) for like 6 years. I'm about to start working with 3-6yo kids in a foster home (unsure how to say it in english but like a group home with like 8 kids) and i'm looking for advice, shared experience, testimonies... Does anyone work with very small kids here ? How is it?

I'm 27 yo and I got my drivers licence 2 years ago, and since then i drove a bit but really not so much. Maybe four times with a friend in his car, for maybe 1 hour long each time.

Then we rent a car with my cousin for a weekend and i drove the whole weekend for short trips mostly (driving to the restaurant, to the beach...) i was glad cause for the first time i drove alone for like 20mn.

But now i'm suppose to drive tomorrow to bring a friend somewhere (2hours), we can both drive and i'm starting to feel anxious. I still make a lot of little mistakes, i didn't drive a lot and i'm starting to tell myself i should just let him drive. I'm trying to convince myself i need to practice and it's a good occasion to do so.

Do you have any tips for me ? It will be my first longer trip.

Original post : I've been teaching on italki for a few years. These past years i've been pretty inactive due to my employement situation but i've kept one student and give lessons a few times a year.

Anyway, last time she asked me for a lesson, i wasn't able to invite her to the classroom. I realized m'y teacher profile was not active anymore, probably due to inactivity. Which i can understand...

But i had some money like 25 USD on my account. Yes it's not a lot, it's less than the minimum they ask to withdraw your money, but still i would like to get my money back if they're closing my account ! I wrote to support but no answers for now.

Has this happened to anyone? How did you do ? Any advice for this situation ?
