Is Swagger supposed to be legal in Champions?
Seriously I thought it was banned, then I got to meet a prankster Sableye with Swagger paired with a Snorlax fissure. (The fissure hit me twice in a row btw)
Leaked picture of the new Mass Effect 4 Asari companion
“Guys I went to an Asari summer camp, it’s my whole personality, I’m basically one, born and raised.” ~ The biggest Asari larper
It was really impressive they managed to get Dogmatic, Iconoclast, AND Heretical Rogue Traders to destroy their C’tan shard so quickly
The last meme about the dead launcher
Whoever came up with that idea, should not be able to make decisions again
You just know there must be someone at the studio saying, “I told you they’d hate it.” if it only took a day to reverse it. The genius that thought we’d actually like the launcher just because they presented it all pretty with a community notice has to be the most overpaid person in the studio to have not seen what the response was going to be.
Hey Owlcat, this is gonna backfire, you can either fix it, or the community will “convince you to”, your call
Do you think, regardless of the decisions made in Mass Effect 1, that the council should still exist after Mass Effect 3?
Seriously they had 3 damn games to realize that Sovereign was not some Geth creation and the Geth don’t just randomly highjack the citadel when they previously have only shown isolationist tendencies.
It’s like if the modern day North Korea suddenly took Brussels because they wanted to invade the EU. Something is going on.
That’s not to say it wasn’t entirely unreasonable to ignore Shepherd at the time, there was only one Reaper and the Ai was gone, but the fact that remnants remained at the prothean site, a mass effect relay was right in that site that led straight to the citadel, and the fact nobody could actually understand Soverign’s technology or origins, really proves they should’ve at least did SOMETHING.
Then the Galaxy directly suffered from their lack of preperation in the third game, and everything Sheperd warned was vindicated and they were rightly blasted for being the incompetent government they were.
If you were a citizen in Mass Effect, you survived the Reaper war, and trillions were dead. Would you even entertain the idea of willingly handing power back to any successors of that “council”? Or would you just rightfully say that every species should govern themselves and there should be no galactic body threatening to risk any further catastrophes with incompetence?
No Patrick, Dynasty Warriors isn’t a historical game either…
The day we get a voiced protagonist is gonna be the day Belka nukes itself again
Polk originally wanted to take all of Mexico, then was negotiated down to less, and Trist gave him even less, having disagreed with how America approached the war
Just wanted to comment how impressive it is that “Beyblade” has actually surpassed the use of “Spinning Top” now, even by those that never have heard of it
Have you ever thought about how crazy it is that people nowadays unironically say, “____ spun like a Beyblade.” “Spin ____ like a Beyblade.” etc.?
Like that is an absolutely HUGE accomplishment because people didn’t Google things originally, they searched, but the company became so massive and associated with that action that the company name overcame the use of the official term. And Beyblade has reached the point that people, even those that never saw the anime, never played with the toys, or interacted with the media at all, use the word without actually associating it with the toy, it rather with the action of spinning like a top in general.
That is absolutely massive and it’s something I don’t think a lot of people realize happened.
The Japanese love to mention the Kamikaze, but people forget how many armadas the Spanish lost consecutively under Philip II and III, trying to invade England.
Seriously everyone loves to mention Trafalgar, but the Spanish have a long and proud history of sending fleets towards Britain, only to lose them in the English Channel, or to Atlantic storms.
“BUT WE AD’ TA GET ME FISH AND CHIPS!!!” ~ The British when Iceland tells them to stop fishing in their waters.
British fishing for cod led the Royal Navy to fight the Icelandic coast guard three times as Iceland increased its naval borders to better preserve their population of cod and keep their own fishing market secure. The British lost every time.
No shots were fired but ships literally rammed each other to circumvent their orders to not fire, Iceland would use diplomacy every time to force Britain to back down and back off.
I’m willing to bet a lot of Athenians were confused
Ruining your IP/Studio Speedrun Any% [Hardcore Mode]
At least the gameplay of Andromeda and Anthem was good, they completely dropped all of the DNA of Dragon Age for some Kroger-brand God of War combat AND ruined the setting with their awful writing in Veilguard.
Smite should bring back Atlas Aspect for an Arena soccer game
Hear me out, 5v5 Atlas only game. One orb gets put in the center and Atlas’ have massive cooldown buffs so they can keep kicking it. Teams burn enemy tickets by kicking the orb into enemy portals, first team to lose all their tickets or have less tickets then the other in 15 minutes loses.
Have this be one of the party-game modes cycling with other modes like Infinite Assault.
