[Routine Help] How to prevent this??

This is how my skin looks by like 4pm. So frustrating. Is this cakey?

Me: 40s, acne prone, combo skin, oily/flaky T zone, v dry skin otherwise, peri

Routine: am wash face, usually tea tree face wash; Norse naturals, upcircle, rosewater, moisturizers and aloe for hydration, sometimes some upcircle face oil

Care: I do red light therapy and exfoliate my whole face like once a week, nose exfloiated every 2 days. More of either causes irritation/ barrier probs

Makeup: elf poreless putty primer applied with a brush, bare minerals multitasker applied with a brush, Rooted pearlescent mineral foundation w brush

My skin recently started straight up rejecting/ reacting to my long time love odylique liquid foundation so I went to mineral makeup that usually calms skin. It looks ok at the beginning of the day

Another Vote for Lactoferrin

I’m vegan, and developed anemia after a surgery and subsequent PE’s, followed by super heavy periods on Eliquis. I’ve also been getting infusions, but my iron is finally up to 112 from 9. This is the highest it has been *in years* including after previous infusion series where it barely got me to normal. I’ve been taking intentional lactoferrin with VitC, been timing my caffeine for 2 hrs after or before iron supps/ foods, been drinking hibiscus tea nonstop, and been focusing on making my plant based protein numbers daily. Not sure which has mattered most but I think the lactoferrin has helped a lot. I’m also lactose intol and it has not bothered me significantly. So I’m recommending it!

Any liquid iron supps not taste like blood?

I am back to being anemic again which I know is a big risk factor for PEs. I need to be taking a liquid iron supplement, but they all taste like blood to me and it grosses me out. I super hated Floradix. Do any not taste like that?

Hey all,

I am in well into peri and I get hot flashes when I’m getting ready for stuff. I usually have to wait for it to pass to apply makeup. My dress is a form fitting mermaid w a built in bodice.

So far, I’ve had hot flashes every time I have tried on dresses and when I’m wearing the one I selected. I also basically had one the entire time we did a courthouse civil ceremony. The big ceremony is in late may in the Bay Area CA, at 5pm. It is unclear to me what the weather will be. Any ideas for staying cool?

- I ordered cooling undergarment shapeware by thifh society

- I may see how my mastectomy boob ice packs look under my dress

- I’m getting my MoH some small, quiet, electric hand fans in case I need it during the ceremony

Any other ideas?

TY!
