Milo update

Hello All ,

Milo was taken to the vet because he had been screaming in pain for months whenever he tried to eat. After examination, they found he has stage 2 kidney disease as well as fungus infection.
He now needs to stay in the clinic for a long period on treatment and monitoring before he can safely go under anesthesia to extract 6 badly affected teeth.
If anyone would like to support Milo and help with his treatment, please DM me. Thank you💐💐

The Kind Of Adoption That Makes Everything Worth It 🌸

Misho

https://imgur.com/a/wUlAlMH

Misho was adopted in mid August, and till today his new mom still sends me updates about him and thanks me for bringing him into her life ❤️
Messages like these mean more than people realize. Seeing a rescued cat loved, safe, spoiled, and truly part of a family makes every difficult moment worth it.

Misho lost his way from his mother when he was only around 2 months old. Because I used to feed the cats in the area, I knew exactly who his mother was. It took me almost two weeks to convince her to trust me enough to follow me to my neighbour’s house where her son was staying.

Today, seeing him so happy, gentle, loved, and well cared for honestly makes me emotional. He is such a funny, polite little gentleman cat 🥹❤️

I really wish every stray cat could find a home like this — a family that not only adopts, but loves deeply and keeps in touch with updates. It means the world to rescuers.

Urgent — Milo Needs a Forever Home After Months of Suffering 💔

https://www.reddit.com/r/UAE/s/8N48pTcMoN

Hello everyone,
Milo has been posted in Mirdif groups and Facebook cat pages since September, but sadly no one ever came forward to help him. The lady feeding him kept posting videos of him crying in pain and struggling to eat, and despite already having huge vet bills, I couldn’t leave him suffering anymore.

I took him in, and his condition is heartbreaking.
Milo has:

Severe oral/dental disease (main reason he cannot eat)

Kidney issues
Respiratory infection
Fungus/skin infection
His current vet bill is already around 6300 AED, and he still needs long-term treatment and hospitalization. He is currently on IV fluids and close monitoring. Because of his kidney condition, anesthesia is very risky right now, so the vets cannot proceed with dental extractions yet.

After everything he has been through, Milo cannot go back to the streets. He deserves safety, treatment, and a quiet loving home where he can recover.
I will also neuter him once he is stable.

Please, if anyone can foster, adopt, or help network him, message me. Even sharing his story could help him finally get the chance he deserves.

Finally, the white cat has been caught !

Hello all,

This cat has been posted since September 2025, but unfortunately no one came forward to help, so I decided to take him in myself. Sadly, when we arrived at the clinic, the carrier door accidentally opened and he ran away.

For the past 12 days, I’ve been driving daily from Mirdif to Majan to feed him and try to catch him again. Thankfully, I finally managed to catch him yesterday.

He has severe dental issues, fungus, and unfortunately kidney failure 💔💔

Because of his kidney condition, anesthesia is very risky for him at the moment, so he will need to stay at the clinic for a long time for treatment and monitoring.

Good news 😻

I wanted to share some good news about Heidi ❤️

Yesterday afternoon, the clinic called and asked me to take Heidi out. I was extremely stressed and overwhelmed because after 45 days of posting her everywhere, no one had adopted or fostered her.

I spent the entire afternoon posting, messaging, and contacting everyone I know trying to find a solution. I went to the clinic, picked up both Heidi and Loulou, dropped Loulou home, and then sat in the car with Heidi because I had nowhere for her to go. I was torn between putting her back on the street or somehow finding her a safe place.

Until 1 AM, I was making calls trying to find a paid foster for her… and finally, I found one near me!! Such a huge relief.

A very special thank you to the kind Redditor who sponsored Heidi’s paid foster. I truly cannot express how grateful I am.

Thank you as well to everyone who prayed for Heidi, shared her posts, supported her journey, and helped me with my other rescue cases. Your support means everything ❤️💐

Unexpected ovarian remnant after spay — should original vet be held responsible?

I need advice regarding my cat Loulou’s case and whether the original vet should be held responsible for the costs.
Loulou is an outside/street cat I rescued and had spayed around 2 years ago. A few months ago I noticed she was still going into heat repeatedly, which obviously should not happen after a spay.

I took her to another clinic where they suspected ovarian remnant syndrome. Before reopening her surgically, I had to pay for a very specialized blood test that was sent to England to confirm whether ovarian tissue was still present. I also paid around 900 AED for a specialist ultrasound, in addition to consultation fees, surgery, and admission costs.
During the second surgery, they discovered tissue/remnants still left behind around both ovaries and part of the womb/uterus.

This has turned into a very expensive and stressful situation, especially because I rescue street cats and have many other cases and many bills to cover.

My question is: in cases like this, should the original vet who performed the first spay be held responsible for at least some of these costs? Has anyone dealt with something similar before?

Need Advicd

I have been posting about Heidi for a long time with no luck finding her a home. Someone suggested raising funds for an MRI, which along with the vet consultation could cost around 6,000.

I really need advice on what to do. You think she will survive in the street with a paralyzed leg? Have you seen such cases?

Tomorrow I will have to take her out because I already have many bills. I’ve tried all the groups people suggested here, but sadly nothing has worked. Poor Heidi has had no luck at all.

Last call for Heidi

I’m an independent cat rescuer in Dubai and I desperately need help finding a home or foster for Heidi before Sunday. She has been staying at Petopia Clinic for around 50 days, but I can no longer keep her there as bills are pilling and will have to take her out maximum by Sunday.

Heidi was bitten by another cat which caused nerve damage in one of her legs. We tried everything we could — including physiotherapy at an expensive specialized clinic — but unfortunately there has been no improvement so far. Petopia staff have also been doing exercises with her twice daily.

An MRI is needed to fully assess the damage, but it costs around 6000 AED, which I cannot afford after months of rescue and clinic bills.

Despite everything, Heidi is incredibly sweet, gentle, and affectionate. She deserves a safe indoor home, not the street. In her condition, releasing her back outside is not an option.

She is around 1 year old, spayed, vaccinated, and has a passport.

Please, if anyone can foster, adopt, or even help share her story, contact me. I really don’t want this cat to end up back outside after everything she’s been through

An hour ago I took a white cat (one green eye, one blue eye) to Petopia Veterinary Clinic. The carrier door broke and he ran away into the sandy area in front of the clinic.

The cat has multiple health issues and urgently needs care.

If you see him, please let me know immediately or contact the clinic so they can help catch him.

Please keep an eye out and share.

Heidi is a 1-year-old sweet girl, spayed and fully vaccinated. She’s been through a lot… after being bitten by another cat, she suffered nerve damage in one of her legs.

She has been in the clinic for around 45 days, and I even took her for 6 physiotherapy sessions at Modern Veterinary Hospital, but sadly there hasn’t been improvement. The clinic at Petopia continues her basic exercises, but she needs something more important now — a home.

Heidi cannot go back to the street in this condition. She deserves safety, care, and someone who will give her a chance at a gentle life. Despite everything, she is a loving cat who just needs a calm environment and a kind heart.

If you can foster or adopt Heidi, please reach out. Even sharing her story could help her find the right person.

Let’s not let her story end here

recently lost a rescued cat to calicivirus + mycoplasma. Before he passed, he unfortunately transmitted the infection to two other cats I’m caring for.

https://imgur.com/a/Ocb87nS

https://imgur.com/a/3bogTLc

Both are now in the clinic and require 28 days of treatment. It’s a long and serious process, and stopping early could cause relapse or make things worse.

https://imgur.com/a/lGEkNDy

https://imgur.com/a/9fuiNPe

One of them is in very bad condition — his ear was bleeding badly. I initially thought it was an injury, but it turned out to be a severe ear mite infection on top of everything else.

I’m trying to manage this alongside multiple ongoing rescue cases, including a paralyzed cat who has been in the clinic for 1.5 months because we still haven’t found her a home.

If you can help in any way, please DM me.

If not, even upvoting or commenting to boost would really help this reach more people. 🙏
