For those of you who ACTUALLY tried brain retraining etc. How did it affect you?

I talking about people who REALLY got into it and REALLY tried for a long time. Did you see any improvement? What kind of program and techniques did you use?

3. Gravgaver
Slike gjenstander finnes regelmessig i steinaldergraver.

«i sjakk».

Give me suggestions based off my all time favorite songs and I will rate them 1-10

I’m EXTREMELY picky when it comes to music but I love music from all genres. Heavy metal is my least favorite but I love a few. I know these are very basic but I also love super niche and strange sounding music. I’ll be very surprised if you can find something I like that i haven’t heard. Don’t be afraid to recommend songs I’ve already heard as well:)

Constantly worried about other people. TW: mental health and mention of suicide

(F23)

I’ve lost contact with most people in my life. I only have my family that I live with and my boyfriend. Because of this I feel extra close to them. Since I have severe ME/CFS I have a lot of time to think and worry. This has lead me to develop a sort of anxiety where I constantly worry about them. I worry that they will get into an accident, or that they are angry at me. But the worst and biggest worry is that they are secretly very depressed and planning to “off themselves”. It’s like if I don’t do anything or cheer them up something bad is going to happen. This constant worry is eating up my life and mind and making me very ill. I know that these are things I can’t control and I shouldn’t worry, but I just can’t seem to stop. I don’t know what to do. Because of my ME/CFS I’m too ill to speak to a professional even over a video call. Someone told me that it sounds a lot like ocd and that I should post this in this group to hopefully get some advice. Maybe someone here has been dealing with something similar? ME/CFS can sometimes cause OCD btw as it’s an illness affecting the nervous system.

Does any of you struggle keeping friends?

I have no issues getting them but keeping them is another thing. I either stop liking them or I pull away for some distance. I don’t know why. I suck at staying in touch with people. Might be a “me” thing.

Dealing with absolute torture. Pls tell me if I will ever be okay again?

Pls be honest. I don’t want to say what I’m dealing with. I want to see if anyone could guess. Feel free to also tell me anything else that you can see.

Does it get better? I just can’t seem finish it

Loved the early seasons but now at ep 3 season 9 it’s just SO slow and boring. I’ve already watched so much so I feel like I have to finish it. Does it get better? It feels like they’ve just ran out of ideas. A zombie apocalypse?? Smallville?

The first song I ever finished

It’s coming out on the 27th (on all platforms) and it’s called Oslo Ambience by VIM. It was made to sound like it belongs in a movie that was never made. Like Walking down the streets of Oslo in the early morning at sunrise.

I’ve never made music before and I know nothing about music production so pls be kind😅

I have a little magpie friend

While laying in bed all day and all night I’ve noticed this magpie hanging around my window. I’ve been throwing out food for it and it has been getting more comfortable. Today it has been sleeping right by my window for hours. It’s still a little skittish and keeping an eye on me. It’s nice to have a little company. What should I name it?

The second song I’ve ever made. How do I fade the melody in?

II’m trying to make movie music for a very cool slightly alternative drama movie that doesn’t exist😅 Or maybe Joachim Trier😆 I know absolutely nothing about music production so this is just for fun. It’s obviously not finished but I need to figure out how to slowly fade in the “du du du du” melody. I use my phone so I’m not sure if it’s even possible. I also need advice on how to give it more “power” eventually.

I feel like everyone thinks I’m crazy

Every time a test comes back normal. Every time I go to the doctor and they don’t find anything wrong I feel like they believe I’m crazy. That this is some made up or imagined issue. When I tell the people close to me that the tests were normal, I feel like they too believe I’m crazy. They don’t say anything but I can feel it. I just wish there would be some kind of proof or some kind of way to show them how I feel. Because this is so far from imaginary symptoms or being dramatic. I’m starting to believe that the worst part of this illness is that there is no way for me to prove that I am in fact extremely sick. I wish you could make others feel your pain just for a little bit. Maybe they would then understand how much torture we go through.

How do you deal with people who keep gifting you expensive toxic products?

I’m super grateful but I’m trying not to use toxic products. I feel bad for them when they spend so much money it. I don’t know if I should say anything.

Is this mold under our balcony or just algae?

This is right above our bedroom window which is always open and we’re concerned about mold exposure.
