My players reacted in a way I did expect (surprise surprise)

I was doing a space canpain with my players where the moon and earth were getting eaten my an alien and they had billionaires on earth sabatoging their ship.

But after we ended session they planned on going out to space to see who sent the aliens instead of earth.

So do I change the plan to work with their plan and rewrite the rest of the canpain or force them to go the way I want and commit the crime of railroading.

Or I guess they could fly out in space and come back because there was nothing there.

What do you think?

"No"

"Are you straight?"

"No"

🤨

"I'm Aro Ace"

"Your the first one I've met. 🙄 What are you attracted to?"

"No one."

"No one? ... Oh your lonely! Your lonely!"

"I have friends..."

"Your lonely!"

"Yeah, and you can't find any emos-"

"Woah woah woah, we aren't talking about me right now- we aren't talking about my problems right now."

Is this anything?

I'm not gonna ask if I'm off my rocker because I know I am.

BUT

On a episode of "Happy Sad Confused" Oscar Isaac said he would be interested in a Midnight Sons movie with Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider.

Guess what just got anouced.

Is this enough evidence for anything? Is it possible? Obviously not any time soon BUT. Do we have hope of a midnight sons movie? Would it even be any good?

Explain Ivan's sacrifice

What I understand so far: Ivan saw Till's heart wasn't fully in round 6. So he attacked Till to swing the votes it Till's favor AND provoke the alien guards. They don't want another round 5 situation. Ivan gets himself killed because its him or Till.

What I don't get: The purpose of the kiss. Was it just because Ivan wanted to? Wouldn't everything have worked just fine with just choking Till?

Explain it to me like I'm 5.

Was Grace right about water and the Goldielocks zone?

Within the movie and the book Grace is proven wrong at every example of alien life. Astrophage AND Eridians require water to survive. (This is excellent writing, making the main character wrong. Makes me believe in the plot armor less.)

But, I can't stop thinking about if this is a Galileo situation where everyone believes the opposite of what turns out to be true? Is it possible that 100s of years later everyone will be looking at Grace's paper and seeing how he predicted life without water that we would theoretically find later on.

This is more of a fun thought experiment. But I want to know what you think! Do you think life without water is possible? (within PHM's universe or ours) Or is Grace still wrong about the only original idea he ever had?

First comic! Tell me your favorite thing about Moon Knight.

I was introduced to Moon Knight by the Disney+ show, and since have wanted to get into the comics/the characters in general. And I finally did! Yes I started at 6, it was all they had at the store and I will get 1-5 soon.

So I want to know what you like about moon knight, any interesting powers, any lore, personality traits of his personalities, and anything I should know as a new fan that wants to know more.

Pronunciation of Names

I've seen confusion about this on here before so I thought I'd spread the word.

I found out today that there are different pronunciations for each character! A English and Korean one. @alli_bug23 on YouTube for the image and being the reason I found out about this. So if you ever get confused by someone saying Iban (E-van) instead of Ivan that's why.

Sorry if I'm stating the obvious, I didn't know before today.

Dumb Idea but hear me out.

(Picture from LadyMacbread on X)

So I was thinking about this post and how Human use instruments to reach pitches Eridians can. So that made me wonder if there is an Erdian equivalent. An Eridian instrument that sounds like human voices.

Then it hit me. VOCALOIDS. I like to think that Vocaloids on the ship are fascinating to Rocky/Eridans in general.

Just listened to "You were loved"

This track always gets me. It puts me in a depression for its entire duration. "You were loved (Burial)" is a perfect track, like many songs in this sound track. And it only hurts more after reading the book. You know Yao and Ilyukhina so much better, the fact they die hurts and feels so tragic.

"I commend your body to the stars." MY HEART.

P.S. Sorry for the lack of pixels. Apology Apology Apology.

This has been bothering me for 12 hours

So Grace is the third choice for the science crew member. That's one of the reasons Sttrat keeps him around. So I've been racking my brain for possible 3rd crew choices for Engineer and Pilot.

I keep trying to come up with prominate members of the mission but I can only think of scientists like Dimitri or Dr. Lokken that wouldn't be Engineers or Pilots.

Maybe Stratt didn't have a third choice for Engineer or Pilot because they are less crutial to the mission? Maybe I'm overthinking this. Any ideas?

Weird fricken E-mail

I got sent an email from **********@vzwpix.com. This was really weird because it sent me nothing but a google doc titled "text_0.txt" and it said "Don't leave me." I looked into it and I saw a reddit post saying the number before the domain was their grandmother's. I checked the number before mine and it was my friends number, who I was talking to about this while looking into this. She told be it was not from her. So WTF??? This has happened before... but what??? I tried to send a question mark back but mailer-daemon@googlemail.com said:

Address not found
Your message wasn't delivered to ************@icmms1.sun5.lightsurf.net because the domain icmms1.sun5.lightsurf.net couldn't be found. Check for typos or unnecessary spaces and try again.

So.... yeah. Really weird. Why would the domains be diffrent? Why would it be a old domain sold to verison? Also I censored my friends number obviously.

Preferred Backrroms Monster

Wanted to know everyone's preference when it comes to backrooms monster. Wasn't putting every monster from the wiki, especially since I'm not as familiar with the wikis.

I GOT THE BOOK

I FINNALY GOT THE BOOK!

I have only watched the movie so far but I can't wait to listen to the soundtrack while reading the book. (Also me showing off my infrared lockscreen and home page on my phone.)

I've heard from people who read the book first that the book is better and explains more. Do you think that's true?

I made stats for every Princess

I rated all offical disney princesses dnd style. All of them have the 6 dnd stats, rated 0-5. I wrote notes at the bottom of some of them because this is for a Hunger Games sim I'm trying to do. I want you guy to pretty please double check my homework, tell me what you think about the stats, and if I'm missing anything important.

P.S. I had a skill of Pocahontas magiclly learning English, but in the sim all of them magiclly speak the same language for ease.

Who was in the right?

I've been thinking about lot at the message of the movie. At first I thought Grace was sent into space and it was a good thing. It was the starting point of his character arch, the refusal to go. Then, he becomes brave by going into space and saving Rocky.

But I've seen so much more stuff since then about how Grace DID have a life. He had his students and liked living. He didn't have a girlfriend or partner of any kind, but especially under aro ace Grace, does that really make you less valuable?

So do you think the messenge is you need to be brave, find someone to be brave for?

Or all connections, even if its mot romantic, is important and valuable. Even if its student-teacher or leaky space blob-scary space spider.

What do you think
