We were watching Friends and got to the scene where Monica is looking for a wedding dress and finds out there’s a 50% off sale. She basically has to fight everyone for the dresses.

My boyfriend suddenly said, “Ayan yung di ko papagawa sa’yo, lovey. Di kita papayagang makipag-agawan for a 50% off wedding dress. I want to give you the wedding you want.”
I was like, huh?? So I said, “Ha? 50/50 naman tayo eh.”
And he just goes, “No. Ako ang gagastos.”

I was genuinely taken aback because I never expected him to have that mindset. I’ve always thought of us as partners financially, and in my head, if we ever get married, we’d obviously share the expenses. I even told him, “No, di ako payag. Magshare pa rin ako.”
Then he said something along the lines of, “Sige, if yun talaga gusto mo, pero dapat mas malaki yung share ko. Konti lang yung sayo.”

And idk, that really got me 🥹
It wasn’t even the idea of him paying for everything that made me happy. It was the fact that, in that moment, he was so sure that he wanted to take care of it and give me something I’d love.
I know it’s such a small thing, but it made me really happy.
Just wanted to share because sometimes your partner says something completely out of nowhere and it hits you harder than all the grand romantic gestures.

Hi everyone. I’m looking for recommendations for a psychologist/therapist for my 17-year-old brother.
He attempted suicide just now, and we really want to get him professional help as soon as possible. We’ve actually been planning to get him into therapy for the past few months and had already done some research, but he seemed to be doing better at the time, so we unfortunately put it on hold.
He told us that he would prefer a male psychologist/therapist because he feels that he might be more comfortable and understood by a male doctor.
If you have any recommendations, preferably someone who has experience working with teenagers and mental health crises, I would really appreciate it. We’re based in Batangas, but we’re also open to go to Manila, and online consultations if appropriate.

We’ve found a few options through our own research, but we would really prefer recommendations from people who have personally worked with a psychologist/therapist they had a good experience with. We trust personal recommendations more, especially since this is our first time looking for professional help for him.

I forgot to pay our bill and the wifi was cut off. I have paid the bill instantly and paid the 50 pesos fee. How long does it take for them to restore the internet connection?

Already tried to contact their customer service via messenger. She scheduled a technician visit for today but after our chat, it was rescheduled to Aug 15! Then I tried to connect again with customer service but there’s still no agent. Also tried in viber, no help. They instantly cut the conversation if they pull up that there’s a scheduled technician visit filed already.

This has happened once before but it was immediately restored. But now, it’s been half a day already. I paid through globeone app so it’s real-time. Thanks!

I just had a call with RCBC daw, told me na may naflag silang suspicious cash advance attempts sa account ko today, multiple attempts. Nakalogin daw sa realme/oppo devices, wala naman ako ganung phones. And for security, papadalhan daw ako ng new card. Then they transferred me, may RCBC ringtone something pa, yung when you’re put on hold. Very promising lol. Then bigla na lang sinabi kung saan ako tinransfer na partner daw nila si Maya. So mukhang sa Maya nila ipapatransfer. Bibigyan daw ako temporary account HAHAHAHAHA. Then napansin ko na and I cant help myself pero may pagka-sarcastic na yung sagot ko sa kanya. Then bigla na lang binaba 🤣

This is the 2nd scam na naexperience ko within a week. Medyo sketchy na siya and mukhang ipapaclose ko na account ko kasi very compromised na siya.

I just got a call from someone claiming to be from RCBC. They told me I was eligible for a new credit card, and at first I acknowledged it because they already knew my full name, address, and even my card number.

They then said I had a ₱3,500 welcome gift and started giving me instructions on how to claim it. I was already suspicious at this point, but I kept listening because I wanted to know their script lol. Then they told me to open UnliPay.

A welcome gift… where I’m the one transferring money? That’s when it became obvious something wasn’t right.
I asked how I could verify that the call was legitimate. She gave me a name (which I unfortunately wasn’t able to write down) and even mentioned she’d been working there for 7 years. I told her I no longer wanted to proceed with the new card, she said she’d put me on hold… then she just ended the call.

Just sharing this as a heads-up. Please be extra careful with unsolicited calls, even if the caller already knows some of your personal information.
