Hi I’m from NY. It’s kinda hard to meet women from my background so I’m open to meeting other women. My family survived some bad racial violence so it’s not the best idea I bring a black woman home. (I find black women attractive) I’m 5’7 in shape and handsome. I’m mostly into going out to new places and drinking I like all types of music (heavy metal, rap, 80 (abba, FW, WS,house) I’m a bank associate looking to move to manhattan as well. Politically a leftist, but I prefer to keep things chill.

So I’ve been in trade support for about 4 years at a BB. I wanted to break into IB so that I could exit to the buy-side doing something like private credit/ L/S HF but I couldn’t make the cut. So I’m thinking of leaving my role and taking the GRE and applying for a top 15 mba. Is this realistic? I already know Corp finance and have done all the modeling practice possible. Was also considering CFA. Thoughts? I’m thinking if I don’t get IB as an associate i can also do ER. I’m considered that the MBA is obviously not as effective in recruiting as it once was maybe 10 years ago.

Ukraines controversial armed forces are launching deep strikes into Russia taking offline oil refining capacity. The strait of Hormuz is being kept closed by both the US and Iran regardless. The net effect is less oil available freely driving inflation across the board and of course governments will respond by printing debt to pay for it by taxing citizens. As more oil goes off line permanently, emission demands will have peaked and freely available fertilizers and secondary products will cause massive unrest across already struggling countries. Sustainability targets would no longer be out of reach, and the total human population would decrease proportionately to that drop in available oil. So India and China are losing more than a billion. Africa losing over a couple hundred million. Colombia and Brazil (big exporter) Venezuela was taken by the US with Guyana. So close to a hundred million gone in South America. Europe will age and the US will receive the best. The temperature globally returns to normal.

I had an Iranian friend once who grew up in turkey. She moved from to the US as a refugee because IsIs was killing her tribe. She was very afraid that people would stereotype her as a terrorist. Instead she passes completely for a white American blonde woman. This led me to think, if race is a social construct, who speaks for white women? This woman would obviously defend her own people as a great society while many American white women would say places like Iran are Islamic hell holes. Back to my point. Who speaks for white women? Norwegian blondes, North African white women, Colombian white women, American white women? There dominant opinion seems to be the American one.

I’m trying to work on myself (28M) and get rid of my ego surrounding my self doubt. I never had a dating life and just go to work and hang out with friends. I tried all that dating apps and even asking out girls when I would go to bars or raves with friends. Outside of that I never figured it out. I still live with my parents but I have enough saved up to move out and I live in a city. I’m pretty in shape, American brown guy. Probably pass for Indian. Most of the advice I see online says I have to take “accountability”

In good faith, I’m 28, living with my parents. I have enough money saved up for an apartment. All my male friends are married and past “single” life so I can’t rely on them for night outs. Stopped seeing an escort I saw for years. Also planning on starting therapy. 5’7 brown skinned Indian looking guy (im Jamaican) in shape (played soccer and swimming) 180 lbs. I’m as close as I was to getting a first date as I was 10 years ago. I am proud that I like myself a lot more than 10 years ago. Been on apps for over a decades (no matches) women I’m into are mostly conventionally attractive skinny women. Mentally I’m still a high school freshman when it comes to dates, relationships and sex. Still no clue how to get experience.

I’ve never been on date before. But I have done things like go to the grocery store, mall, pick ups for a girl who I work with. We are not together I’m just wondering is dating like spending time together like as friends?

I have been doing back office work as an associate for 4 years now. I wanted to do front office work at a BB but the market was so bad the last few years considering everything I was happy to have a job and my only exit ops are ops at a hedge fund. I think an MBA wouldn’t be worth it unless I had an opportunity lined and who knows 3 years from now. I am in NY and not sure where to pivot. I am looking at everything from middle office to research/cre/credit/underwriting. Anything involving me critically verifying outputs part of a larger process that isn’t internal.

I started using the internet in 2003 when I was a kid. It was totally different back then. Now it feels like poison and I derive very little happiness from it. When I go out in public and see people using their phones it looks very dystopian to me. Like it gives me anxiety and the creeps. Like I’m around robots. I don’t like this anymore. Not much else to say.

The octopus wants a civil war in Pakistan. This will cause India to invade with their military and China to invade with their military to secure middle eastern oil supplies. Crop yields will collapse due to fertilizer shortages. This will cause massive death and solve the climate change issue around sustainability. Keep in mind most of the people in the world live in that region. This will allow another middle eastern power to emerge as the dominant power. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post this. Am I cooked? I’m moving to a big city by a bunch of bars soon. Friends are married so I’m solo. 5’7 and the most Indian looking guy possible (from Georgia). I think i had anything going for me I would have met someone by now. I wanna ask women out but not get hit with SA charges.
