Just moved here. Looking for local band recommendations.

Just saw Gus Baldwin’s band sketch, they were so freaking good. I also saw Lauren Lakis and also enjoyed. What are other local bands i need to look out for? Im tired of $150 concert tickets. I need to go out and support smaller local bands from the area.

Clip from Venus from Austin tour opener

So my buddy won two seats thru IG and a record store. He couldn’t make it. He gave me his TM password so I could go. Got there and they were for section 206, upper level side of stage. Might have been the worst possible section and worst seats and no view. I couldn’t make it thru two songs…the sound up there was unbearable and the view was almost nonexistent, the stage blocked by some speakers that pointed everywhere but our upper section. Luckily, i went to box office and was able to upgrade to lower lever seats with actual good acoustics and great view. So the show was 🔥!!!!! Here’s a short clip.

Recommendations for breakfast/coffee and diner spots and other cool things to do

Driving from Austin to San Antonio Monday early to catch The Odyssey at 2pm. Thinking of leaving really early and just doing a full day trip and visiting cool spots. What would u recommend for breakfast coffee dinner spots? Any other non food things that are a must?

In search one ticket for the Odyssey at the Bullock any time after the 26th…

I bought tix to catch it tomorrow in Denver cause im going for a few days for The Strokes at Red Rocks. Unfortunately the 70mm Imax proyector in Denver has been down since last weekend and probably wont be up and running for tomorrow’s showing. I would also consider a ticket for any 70mm IMAX screening in San Antonio or Dallas.

Mexico Authentic impulse buy

Went to Dicks for sneakers and wander around and saw what was probably a rack full of random items ( maybe returns )waiting to be put back on the floor. Saw a single one of these and just grabbed it. I kinda wanted the rep since i keep hearing they are better if one is planning to wear them more often. This one does look nice and feel good on though.
