please help me with some keyboard suggestions, I made a list of wants

Budget - $150-$170

layout- 75

knob/wheel - nice to have but not that important

mounting style - I heard gasket is good and must in this price range but please let me know your suggestions

material - aluminium, internal foam for damping vibrations etc

sound - thocky and/or creamy

switches - can't decide b/w basic mechanical/ magnetic hall effect, I want thocky/creamy sound but I don't know if hall effect is possible in this price point (I also plan to change keycaps set soon, would that be a problem with hall effect keys?) , if mechanical then 5 pin and prelubed as I heard 3 pin is meh these days and lube helps thock

software - webapp preferred, if it's app only then must support macOS (someone recommend to get something that supports VIA)

on top of all, please recommend boards that are available in India 😓 (I'm just concerned about customs, if there's a way to circumvent them, please let me know)

[DISCUSS] a review of the capes india transparent skin after 2 weeks of application

got the skin delivered and it has been ~15 days since I applied it, m5 air 13 inch midnight

full disclosure - I made a deal from one of the guys that work there (i found his socials and hit him up) a discount code for a review but that's it, this is unbiased and entirely my opinion

[TLDR - the top and the bottom skins are no brainer if you don't like scratches and wanna protect, ignore the palmrest and trackpad pack unless you really want to maximize resale value, even then you can just get a BT keyboard and mouse lol

they don't leave any strikes/marks unless you did a crappy application job (which needs patience), just give it a week to settle ]

first things first, it does make your mac's colour look just a weebit off but hey, there's a whole ass vinyl on it, it's great and I got the full coverage version (top + bottom + palmrest & trackpad)

the elephant of the room - SKIN APPLICATION [the most important step imo], it needs lots of patience but if you follow the steps from their youtube video, it should be easy, again, easy but very time consuming, took me like 2 hours to complete it

all the bubbles are gone after 2 weeks, unless you did a crappy application job, it should be fine, just make sure while applying you keep the pressure unidirectional and gentle, don't use full force or press in random directions

now the review - 2 parts, the top + bottom skins and the palmrest + trackpad etc

The top and the bottom skins : [TLDR no complaints, get them] they're neat, 0 complaints there and would recommend it especially if you've not got apple care and want to sell it sometime in the future, no brainer
applicable of the skin that covers the keyboard perimeter and palmrest is somewhat tricky, they've changed the design and have made left and right pieces instead of one long piece, so alignment will never be perfect, you will also observe impress of the display's rubber seal on the skin near top left and top right of the keyboard perimeter area

as for the track pad, it does add a little bit of friction to it, you won't be able to glide as easily especially three finger drags etc, it does collect dust so give it a wipe every week or so with a microfiber cloth slightly dipped in water

unless you want to maximize the resale value, you don't need to get trackpad + palmrest skins, if it's a desk setup you're gonna get a bluetooth keyboard and a mouse anyways

before you call me stupid, please hear me out and help me

I am a big time chainsawman fan and I want to get a chainsawman themed keyboard, and arbiter studio just launched this, their POLAR s75+ magnetic keyboard series - arbiterstudio.com/collections/chainsaw-man-collection/)

they also have their ARC 65 series board which is preorder only but even more customised(side grill etc) (last two pictures)

I own a mac so I'm not even sure if it's compatible (it's a bluetooth keyboard with a webapp) and it's a bit on the costlier side (140$+shipping for the polar 75+ and 180$+ shipping for arc65+)

I can afford only one of them but I have 0 idea about any of the technicalities associated with keyboards, so please if anyone could point me out to things I should focus on or if this is even mac compatible it'll be very helpful for me😓

how do I return a product that's replace only, HELP (charging cable, getting less amperes than advertised)

I ordered a UGREEN 3A charging cable thinking it'll support my phone's fast charging

My phone did show the fast charging symbol but when I tested it with AmpereFlow and Ampere apps I was getting 500-1000 mA

Telugu people, which IPTV are you using??? BSNL only has ULKA TV for telugu and apparently it's SH*T

Did you find any IPTV as reliable as JioTV+ ?

thinking to shift from jio fiber + stb setup to bsnl fiber, need a good IPTV

Main need is telugu and tamil channels like sun TV, gemini TV, ETV, telugu/tamil news, star maa etc

Jio is apparently doing a "network upgrade" of which they have me 0 intimation via SMS/alerts

All of a sudden internet stopped working (writing this with my mum's airtel hotspot) on SIM and AirFiber

Called Jio customer care and they said there's a network upgrade going on in my area and internet will be back in a hour

I was not informed about this in any way before (no SMS alerts)

What should I do?

[QUERY] for the student offer, should I just edit my expired student ID and submit a soft copy or is it not recommended?

My student ID expired last month 31/05/26 and I'm wondering if I should just forger it and submit a soft copy to the reseller

I can get a junior to help me but the store guy said bill will be in his name....will it be an issue in the future while claiming warranty etc?
