Do I need a second opinion ?
I tested negative for a yeast infection for over 6 months, yet my doctor keeps claiming it’s a chronic yeast infection. I’ve taken yeast infection medications more than six times, as well as used boric acid, but the symptoms keep coming back.
Right now, I don’t have any abnormal discharge — only itching and burning.
She hasn’t explained why she still believes it’s a chronic yeast infection even though I’ve tested negative for over 6 months, including being tested more than three times and having a wet mount test.
Should I look for a second opinion or see another urogynecologist?
8 months burning that leaves and comes back
I’ve been on antibiotics at least 5 times and treated with fluconazole for over 2 weeks straight and been on it countless times.
The symptoms improve but keep coming back. I tested negative for diabetes, ureaplasma, STDs, and yeast, including rare yeast. The ureogynnogist is convinced it's yeast but I've tested negative.
At this point, I’m wondering if I should seek a second opinion of what to do. I can't keep living like this. I am so fucking horny and my vagina is fucking useless and an pain all the time.
