PSA for local collectors: Three and Co. in Buri is having a 50% off sale on everything.

Hey everyone! I was looking for a gift the other day and randomly stumbled upon Three and Co. in Buri Road. Turns out they have a 50% off sale on all items right now. you collect vintage or antique stuff, it's super worth checking out. They have a lot of really nice pieces sourced from Europe, the US, and elsewhere. Not sure until when tho but I got a super cute teapot for only 750. Sharing some photos.

JAPAN VISA as a stay at home wife

Just curious if anyone here has applied for a SE or ME visa and passed only their marriage certificate, passport and letter of guarantee from their husband? How was it?:)

From ₱1k Casio resin to Tudor 1926 with diamonds! First time ko magka-luxury watch 🥹

First time ko ever to own a luxury watch! For the longest time, happy and satisfied na talaga ako sa trusty, less than ₱1,000 Casio resin watch ko. Pang-araw-araw, matibay, at walang alalahanin. But today, I finally made the huge jump and bought my first Tudor 1926 with diamond dial/markers! 💎

Honest thoughts on 18 Blue Bills and Money Dances at weddings? Tradition, fun, or cringe?

On one hand, people view them as a practical, culturally accepted way to help the newlyweds build a financial cushion as they start their new life together. It’s supposed to be fun, festive, and a sign of support from family and friends.

On the other hand, a lot of people feel like these traditions have become overly performative, tacky, or uncomfortable for guests who are put on the spot especially with current economic pressures. Some even argue it borders on subtle solicitation.

I’m curious to hear your thoughts, whether you’re married, planning a wedding, or just a frequent guest.

house wife with no income

Hi everyone! Seeking some guidance from anyone who has gone through this process with Pag-IBIG or works in real estate.

Our Situation:
I am a housewife with no traditional bank account or formal proof of income.

I bought a lot (titled under my name / named in the Deed of Sale).

My husband is employed/earning and will be the primary income source / principal borrower for our Pag-IBIG Housing Loan (or Lot Loan / House Construction Loan).

Nakakapagod din pala maging bridesmaid kahit sagot ng bride yung gown, hair, and makeup. Rant lang kasi ang bigat sa bulsa.

I just need to vent, and honestly, gusto ko lang malaman kung may nakaranas na ba ng ganito rito.
I was in this situation before. So, I said yes.

Pero looking back, na-realize ko na being a bridesmaid is never actually free.

On top of the financial strain, sobrang nakakapagod mentally at physically.

I really hope future brides would consider the full financial burden na dinadala ng entourage nila.

Iba talaga ang KitKat made in the US. No wonder why I don't like eating the ones that are being sold in regular groceries here. I just realized that the ones sold sa S&R and Landers are imported from the US, and those are the only KitKats made by Hershey's!

Yung mga nabibili sa local supermarkets natin are usually imported from Malaysia, Germany, or Mexico naman which are manufactured by Nestlé and use a completely different cocoa blend. Drop your thoughts: Team Hershey’s KitKat (US) ba kayo o Team Nestlé KitKat (Rest of the World)?

Planning to try Parrilla Negrense Kitchen this weekend. Any food recos?

Hey guys! Planning to eat at Parrilla (the new one across Citi Hardware Lacson) over the weekend. Every time we pass by, the place is always jampacked, but I've been seeing mostly negative reviews online or mixed feedback about their soft opening.
I still want to try it firsthand and give them a chance. For those who have actually eaten there, what dishes are actually worth ordering or are a must-try? Thank you!

Is the Tudor 1926 the best entry-level everyday luxury watch? Need some daily wear advice!

I’m about to celebrate a milestone and buy my first luxury watch. I’m heavily leaning toward the Tudor 1926 with the bezel trim.

Before I drop the cash, I wanted to ask the community:

How scratch-resistant is the polished bezel/bracelet for daily use?

Would love to hear your experiences or see some wrist shots if you daily-drive this model!

Anyone else find it a huge hassle when a cafe or restaurant doesn't have its own CR?

Anyone else feel like it’s such a chore when you’re out at a cafe or resto, and then find out wala sila CR? lain gid ang comfort level kung indi mo na kilanglan magwa sa establishment or magpangita sang shared restroom sa mall/hallway.

Just curious if this is an issue for others or okay lang/bearable man gyapon? It hit me recently how different the overall experience is when you don’t have to pack up your things, ask someone to watch your laptop/bags, or literally walk out of the establishment just to find one. What are some spots nga kabalo kamo nga wala gid sang CR para before going maka prepare man ta?
