Situation: I work at a bar/restaurant. A few times a year we have a concert. The owner brings in an A list band. Famous from the 90's.
Our general manager hires their mom and 2 other friends to come help with the concert, enjoy the music then once the concert is over, those 3 leave. Been doing this for the last couple years. The only time those 3 are there are to work the concert.
So how is this fair? By doing this our GM plays favoritism to their family member and friends.
I know for a fact if I asked to hire 1-2 of my friends for this reason, the GM would say no.
So is this creating a hostile work environment?
I'm going to file a complaint with HR about this. Explain how unfair this is, favoritism, and the possibility of creating a hostile work environment.
I guess my question is this...Do I have a legit reason to complain?

Back in Oct of 2025, I bought a new PS5 pro. I selected the trade in program as I had a normal PS5 I wanted to trade in toward the Pro. Amazon offered me $220 trade in value. So I went ahead and agreed to it. My PS5 is in good working order and good condition.

I received my new PS5 pro, so I sent my traded in PS5 into amazon with the provided shipping label and instructions. Before I shipped it, i ensured the PS5 console worked. Everything worked.

A week went by, and amazon sent me a message stating the PS5 console I sent in doesn't work. So amazon gave me a option to have it returned to me. I told them to send it back.

Another couple weeks goes by and haven't received my original PS5 yet. Shipping through UPS and when tracked, there was no information. I tried to contact amazon customer service about this multiple times, they couldn't find the trade in or even the order. I tried several representatives. Still nothing. So at this point I gave up, sure its only 200$ in value.

So then it brings to recent weeks where I've been thinking about this. I do have renters insurance. Since the console is technically stolen, do I have a claim that renters insurance would cover?
