Honesty is beautiful while dishonesty is ugly
reddit.com20F sitting here bored out of my mind, who wants to save me?
Just looking for some fun, casual chats to pass the time and keep things interesting. Tell me your favorite movie, a hot take you'd fight for, or just drop your best icebreaker and let’s see where the conversation goes!
Switched to a plant-based diet recently and honestly blew past my own expectations
I used to think you couldn't build muscle or hit high protein goals without relying heavily on meat. Once I actually gave a fully plant based routine a shot, my recovery times dropped and my energy in the gym surged. Now I'm completely sold on how much better my lifts feel every single day. What originally made you choose this path, and what was the turning point for you?
Why don't people clean up after using shared machines?
barefoot running is wrecking my calves and how do I actually transition without injuring myself?
I recently started barefoot running, and while I love the natural feel, my legs are paying the price. My calves and Achilles tendons are constantly on fire, even though I’m only doing short distances. I’m pretty sure my form is off, but I’m not sure how to fix it before I end up properly injured. Has anyone else dealt with this brutal adjustment phase? What drills or progression schedules actually worked for you when starting out?
Running so slow it feels like walking how do I actually speed up?
I've been running for a while now, but my pace is barely moving the needle. I feel like I'm putting in the time, yet the progress is painfully slow. My legs just get heavy, and I hit a wall long before hitting a decent speed. I really want to break through this, but I'm not sure what to tweak next. Should I focus on speed work, build a bigger mileage base, or fix my pacing? What actually worked for you when you were stuck in a rut like this?
what are you all reading right now?
I'm stuck in a massive reading slump and desperately need something new. I usually love fast paced YA fantasy and thrillers, but I'm honestly open to any genre as long as the story is great. What's a book that recently kept you up reading way past your bedtime? Bonus points if it features awesome character dynamics or a plot twist I won't see coming. Drop your current reads and best recommendations below!
Just mash 3 ripe bananas, the mix 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg, 1 tsp vanilla, 1.5 cups flour, and 1 tsp baking soda. Pour into a greased pan and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35–40 minutes. It comes out unbelievably moist every single time with zero baking skills required.
What's a universally, acclaimed movie that you secretly can't stand?
We had a movie night with friends recently and put on La La Land. Everyone else in the room was raving about it but not me. I kept waiting for it to click, but it fell completely flat for me. Am I crazy, or is it heavily overrated?
