The wonderfully amateurish Filin covers of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

Big fan of inflatable man Gandalf and his golden cane, personally.

[TV] Blake's 7, B9 Countdown: the "solanium detonation device" is connected to something with an RCA cable

Also possible chunk of studio equipment on the left there, but it's too blurry.

Is it me? Am I shopping wrong? Why is it so hard to find yarn that is what it says on the label?

Angora with merino? 80% acrylic 20% merino.

Mohair classic? Mostly acrylic.

Cotton? Buncha polyamide.

I had to settle on 100% merino that was thicker than what I needed just because I'm trying to avoid synthetics. And there's nothing wrong with synthetics! I like synthetics! But I'm making a late summer/early autumn garment, dammit, and I'm personally trying to use natural fibers, why should I pay extra extra attention?
