2 year old rock iguana.

1 month ago (pics 1-4) the tip of her tail looked dead. I posted it here and many people told me it was already healed, including my reptile keeper girlfriend.

2 weeks ago, the “dead” tip (1 cm) fell off. This is what it’s looked like ever since

I’m guessing it was just dead and uninfected tissue that fell off naturally. We saw it slowly fall off over the course of 4-5 days. After it fell off it looked like this.

My girlfriend’s theory is that they closed the enclosure glass on her tail in the pet store, because there’s a damaged segment near the tip, so the circulation is cut off and the tissue died. Which means it isn’t tail rot?

I just wanted to see what some more experienced keepers think about it

I am not asking for a diagnosis. I am just asking if people have seen it before and if it’s normal.

I included a variety of the ways that I like to dress. Anything other than a t shirt is me dressing up lol.

Not sure what I want to go for but I’m open to any ideas for improving my dress

I’m a little thick, and have been blessed with large breasts, but gaining weight and being on T has made my boobs very saggy and long.

I want to wear more revealing fem clothes other than my usual t shirts and jeans. I’m kind of rediscovering my femininity after finally feeling comfortable in my body. I’m actually crocheting a bralette tank top for myself right now. I haven’t owned fem clothes in years.

Having boobs doesn’t give me dysphoria, I just don’t like how gross mine are. They’re deflated bags of flesh on me. How can I be proud of that? It makes me much less motivated to show my body at all. But I’m tired of wearing baggy shirts and covering up. I want to be myself proudly no matter how I look.

I’m so in love with how well the shark fits in my conch. I’ve had it pierced for about 3 years and never thought to put something bigger than a 3 mm stud in it. The bigger jewelry fits amazingly!

TLDR: I love the base but it’s too minimalist and needs more detail, what do I tell the artist to do to it?

His line work and coloring are great, and he used the reference I gave him, but I was hoping for him to add his own twist or something and add more detail. This was my first time going to a real tattoo shop so I didn’t really know what to ask for other than just show him the picture.

We did a second tattoo during this session and it came out fantastic with great shading and he added extra detail to the tattoo other than the stencil’s outline. I expected him to do the same with this snake, but he just colored it in and left it, I didn’t push further because the session had already been 2 hours and was over.

He made the lines shaky on purpose, thats what the stencil looked like, and I’m fine with the organic look of the lines.

My problem is it’s too minimalist. This was the only green color he had other than grass green. It’s so plain, it’s about 4” and there’s absolutely no detail or shading.

I want to go back to the same artist and ask him to add detail but I realize now that I need to give him more direction.

Juvenile lewisi rock iguana, following vets care instructions to a T.

She used to (4-6 months ago) eat so much food when I first got her. Like anytime she saw food she would get super excited. She always wanted to eat more.

Recently (past month) she’s started slowing down her eating. She doesn’t finish all her food. She doesn’t seem hungry and I leave greens out all the time for her but she ignores them. No signs of stress, she is normal otherwise and is free range (room is kept warm) and has lots to do and climb on. Seems healthy overall.

I just moved and had to switch from her usual organic Asian farmers market greens to regular collards and mustard greens. I recently was able to find some dandelion greens as well. Maybe she’s just picky about changing her diet? She used to eat collards all the time before I found the farmers market. I know collards are kind of bitter so maybe she’s doesn’t like going back to them once she had the good stuff.

I’m worried about her getting underweight with how active she is and how little she’s eating. She eats about 1/2 cup of salad a day, sometimes 1 cup, so it’s not like she’s dying but I am concerned about her behavior change. She used to be a little overweight and she’s a healthy weight now, but I don’t want her to start getting too skinny.

My girlfriend says she’s probably just maturing and doesn’t need as much food.

Current setup is too minimal. Going for a masc/alt look. Want to add 3-4 per ear. I like some symmetry but not perfect symmetry.

Planning on changing the daith jewelry to something slightly chunkier and more masc. I have other stretched jewelry that I wear out but the skins are my dailies. I adore the small Huggies in my second lobes.

Current ideas:
• One stacked lobe above the small hoops with small opals or colored gems (L&R)
• A conch below the first one, with hoops in both once healed (R).
• Low helix (1-3) working up the rim of my ear, unsure about placement or quantity, I don’t know how good a stack would look on my ears (L&R).
• Double helix with small hoops once healed (L or R, help me choose).
• Stretch further, unsure about goal size (current 11 mm) (14-16 mm goal?).

I don’t want:
Tragus, forward helix, another daith, rook, hidden helix. Personal preference or have had them before and they didn’t work out.

I love helping other people with their setups. I want everyone’s ideas and opinions!

We got her (2ish year old Lewisi rock iguana) in January from a pet store and her tail looked like this when we got her. It hadn’t gotten worse or anything, it just hasn’t gotten better. Is there anything we can do to keep this from getting infected? Can it heal on its own, or is it as healed as it’s going to get? Precautions?
