Kay's grocery on 6th Ave SW is now closed. It'll re-open in July after some renovations, and a re-brand.

It'll be "Farmer's Fridge" when it opens. They have a FB page: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61587126460111

Found this in the Googles about the new owner:

"Brody Powell Moves on From Associated Grocers"

Brody Powell is moving on from Associated Grocers to become an independent grocer. “Its with many mixed emotion that today marks my last official day at the Associated Grocers office and Friday being my last day with the Pattison Food Group as Vice President of Wholesale.

I’m not leaving the AG family completely however…. After spending my entire working career (over 2 decades of service with one company) I have decided to hop sides and become an Independent AG Retailer. Partnering with my good friend Jim Hamilton, we have purchased a store in Midway BC now known as “Hammy’s Kettle Valley” and also another new location in Calgary AB slated to open in late June, we are very excited for the future and this new path with plans also to expand from these two new locations in the near future.”.

Going to miss Kay's. Been going there forever. It's been there for as long as I can remember. Hopefully the new place isn't going to be $$$ :( We shall see.

Pretty bummed. Hoping people can share some positive resolutions regarding this kind of thing? Hope is good.

My DJI Pocket 3 started to go a little wonky with the gimbal not aligning correctly. I had purchased the 2 year care/refresh protection, thankfully, which I processed to get it replaced. I had to pay an additional $35 service fee to use it, which sucked, but whatever.

When I processed the RMA, it said I was going to be sent a pre-paid shipping label. After a couple days of it not showing up, I went to the DJI website to see what I could do. I asked their AI bot about it. It said that the shipping label program was suspended. Oh okay .. I can ship it myself. Which I did. Another $27.

I sent via Canada Post. I have since learned that they primarily use UPS for shipping returns to/from. I wasn't aware of this. My tracking number from Canada Post shows that it was successfully delivered on April 23rd, to the address they provided me throughout the process. 2300 Hogan Drive, Mississauga, ON, L5N 0C8.

DJI is telling me they don't have it. It's considered lost. Too bad, and so sad.

???

I've opened a support ticket to escalate this with Canada Post but I'm not expecting them to be too helpful. I have no idea how something can be marked as successfully delivered but also not delivered.

Really loved that device. I got the Creator Combo and have since purchased like every single accessory on the market for it, including the official DJI lens filters, all of the K&F Concept filters, hand grips, attachments, magnets, etc. I'm so sad lol this sucks. I've shared tons of videos from it on social media and recommended it to countless times to people.

Thanks for letting me rant. Hoping someone out there has been through similar and has a nice happy ending.
