Honors program

is there any benefits to the honors program?

i got an enrollment fee waiver, but having to take the forum and have all these requirements doesn’t exactly fit into what i had in mind schedule wise if that makes sense. i’m not sure if it’s for me personally, as there are other things i’d like to focus on.

i had considered declining my spot and wanted to ask others if it was ‘worth it’ per say.

Coping with celebration eating

i’ve been struggling with anorexia for half a year now. not as long as others, but it has still worsened, and it is likely at its worst these past 2 months.

i’ve been eating more because i graduated this week and ive been attending gradation parties, my own included. my family has baked me several cakes, gotten me all my favorite sweets, took me out for all my favorite meals. ive been eating way above what ive been eating, and what im
comfortable with. today, i ate 2 slices of cake, a donut, and still had breakfast and dinner, and i feel so nauseous thinking about it.

does anyone have any advice coping with eating more? i know im eating the average amount for a lot of people, but i still have this anxious feeling im going to gain weight or that people are judging me or something. i’m trying to use this week as a way to recover, but im struggling.

Strength Train Recommendations

hello!

i am a 19 year old woman who has been consistently walking 10-20k steps a day (depending on if i work or not), but i still want to feel leaner.

i feel like strength training will help more because i’m 5’1. does anyone have any strength routine or workout recommendations, specifically ones that target core and abdomen muscles, as that’s what i want to build?

i don’t go to the gym for both price reasons and safety reasons (all the ones in my area are expensive and have many reports of women being targeted), and i also work 40-50 hours, so id love to be able to strength train at home with dumbbells if possible. im moving in a few months so hopefully that’ll change!

i’ve recently developed an ED, and was experiencing lots of bloating.

i’ve been eating way less than my ‘before,’ and i’ve never had such bad of bloating before when i eat, even if it’s in small amounts.

has anyone else had this before? i’m sorry if it’s a silly question. it’s honestly making my self perception so much worse. is there any way to reduce bloating or is it a digestive issue?

this isn’t an exact photo of it, but it’s one i found off Google of the same menu item.

it was a BLT with oven roasted turkey, lettuce, tomato, and bacon on cold whole wheat bread (no mayo).

if anyone wants to help more, i also ordered a 12oz strawberry blend with coconut milk, vanilla and whipped cream. how many would that be?

hello!

i’m an incoming freshman at ncsu, and i wanted to know how strict class attendance policies were.

i was planning on buying concert tickets for one in october, but it’s on a weekday, and i’d likely have to miss any future classes. next semester, i’ll probably have courses like calc 1, intro classes to my major, public speaking, etc. potentially even ochem because i have gen chem courses done.

i really don’t want to miss classes on my first semester or at all in general, so i’ll probably just buy a ticket that’s further away on a weekend.

i was just curious on how attendance worked for a lot of courses!

any low calorie pasta tips and tricks or recipes? i get full after a smaller serving, but i love the taste of any type of pasta, especially vodka sauce pasta.

by ‘low calorie’ i just mean lower than most pastas; i get its a very high calorie food even in small servings so i just wanted alternative ways to make it even a tiny bit less!
