How many films do you watch a month to make Shudder worth it for yoi?

I pay £4.99/month currently, so for me i only have to watch one feature film and it's worth it as that is so much less than the price of going to the cinema. When I've rented indie films online they're usually that much per pop.

Yes, the audio and visual quality isn't as good, eventually I'll buy a new tv. And the film quality varies but there are some absolute gems on there, and I'm at home with my stuff (food, sofa) and not 1 hour+ from home. I can always watch a second film, basically free at that point.

How about you? How many films do you watch to make it worth it?

If someone initiates a trade with you, their message is "Wishlisted cards only", and you have none of their WL cards, what's the etiquette?

Offer them a card at random, because i can't tell what they do or don't have? Or reject the trade (tho I want the card they offered)?

is this a valid pen alternative?

"Pen fell out of my pannier some time today so I signed with three small blood marks from a split lip and a smudge of green from a smeared leaf."

is an app (Merge Teahouse) pasting my clipboard on startup the security/data concern it seems to be?

Just learned about the clipboard access alert feature on Android through a thread on a game i play called Merge Teahouse, turned it on, and found it pops up every time i open the game with something new on my clipboard.

Don't know where it's being pasted! Don't know if it is being pasted or if this is a keyboard access request due to the promo code feature. Don't know how to check!

Thread where i learned about this, for context:

new lip ring day!

Had these snakebites for a few years now, got them on a whim on Halloween 2023 at Ton Up Tattoo in Glasgow. Healed with flatback labrets then changed to plain titanium rings after a few months. Finally treated myself to something with a bit of decoration! Niobium rings from Browncoat Piercer.

ever have a week like this?

Last week was all about finishing an audiobook and podcasts and music listening didnt get a look in. I commuted mostly by bike and I dedicate that time to audiobooks. These charts really shows me i listen to music the most when driving alone or when alone in the house and I haven't been alone much in the last week.

Is it best to ignore orders that are not cat-marked?

I basically ignore all non-cat orders unless they're the ones with the chest (or maybe the birds). Am I missing a trick by hoarding stuff and not fulfilling other orders?

[ANALOG] Colour Collage Cycle

A5 collages in rainbow colour order that i worked on through last year as a way to have a low-pressure physical media project. I'm partway through the next cycle and the final photo is the notebook today being pressed to make it a bit flatter.

My restrictions for this project are: work in rainbow colour order (ROYGBIVWB) one colour at a time without skipping; don't buy anything for the project (I'm using old magazines I've had lying around for years).

Which is more accurate for countries scrobbled: Explr.FM or LastFMStats? Also, is there somewhere that will list all countries /not/ scrobbled?

ExplrFM takes from LastFM's tags for its countries (but I don't know how often those are updated, as I've submitted country tags that haven't been included).

LastFMStats takes from MusicBrainz; I don't know how that's updated.

Think diced potato, diced meat.

There are 6 sides to brown - is there a particular stirring technique that ensures the piece turn over to a new side? Or do I have to stick with individually flipping each piece?

When I stir the food, some pieces flip but most just unstick and move around the pan unless I deliberately flip them. This means that it is a very attention-intensive process, e.g. stirring the diced potato every 3 minutes but it would take 2 minutes to flip every piece, so i couldnt do anything else in the meantime and had to track which pieces I'd flipped first.
