I was watching this video about Nash breaking down how he mastered the pick and roll.

So he was going on about setting the screen up, being able to pass with both hands, using separation before the screen arrives, etc.

Then he and the interviewer started discussing his style of movement. It wasn’t fast, he was more like a dancer. Steve said he had rhythm, he was always balanced, he was coordinated. He was shifty and fluid those were his biggest strength, he kept doing it until it stuck and developed. He said it’s about changing speeds. Then he starts breaking down his swivel moves….

Then bam, I was like that’s freaking Brunson. It is so similar but brunson is african american so he’s more of a scorer lol… though seriously speaking, Jalen is taller and stronger so he leans more into scoring.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Jalen watches tapes of Steve Nash and learning all that rhythm off of the two-time MVP. If he did, it’s incredible how Steve actually won a championship through Jalen.

And to further the similarities they were both let go by the same team — the Mavericks.

Shout out to Steve Nash one of the greats, always underrated but always loved and appreciated by basketball junkies.

Edit: it’s just flying in everyone’s head that i am comparing PLAY STYLES not LEVEL OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS. And if we are gonna do that one got a ring, one got MVPs. I’d argue they are actually equal and I like Nash more.

People here don’t have the capacity to read at all, always just spewing words that don’t even relate to what is being posted.

I am down almost $6000 on these three stocks. At first I thought strong fundamentals meant these are strong stocks to put my money in and get some profits along the way.

Alas I was wrong. The market sentiment was a little more expecting snd everything else. BUT still I know these stocks will bounce back especially MU and SNDK.

The problem is I don’t have dry powder anymore.

Now, I am planning to DCA sell some of it for a few things:

1. To lessen concentration and risk
2. Go into other better opportunity stocks
3. Do swing trading
4. Put some of it in index funds

I want to ask for those who have been in the same situation. Fundamentally what is the better strategy to take, be more patient or cut some losses and DCA sell?

Things like security deposit, advanced payment, assoc dues if any.

Is 12 months post dated check a norm?

And I have tried checking for online reviews very sparse also, I think some of the positive comments were from their team (which I understand).

So any legit graduate couples here, worth it ba? How is it working with them?

Like for example, if the doctor tells you that you have ADHD, do you get second opinion pa? I mean first time ko kasi magpapa check up with mental health if ever.

There was a one time lang during pandemic, it was a 30 minute online check up so i dont really count it, binagsakan ako agad ng GAD diagnosis, after that mejo napa stay away ako from getting mental health check ups kasi parang ang whimsical?

I want to get this confirmed kasi matagal na kong may hinala. Ang dami kong symptoms, mentally, socially, emotionally and marami sa family ko (cousins) ang may autism. I want to know if nagdadahilan lang ba ako or I have been fighting something in me all this time kaya parang I always feel like I cant achieve my full potential.

I’m 30 and I want to take control of my life. :)

Ok lang naman. Ang lonely lang kasi, di rin naman ako close sa family ko. Tsaka siyempre ang hirap nung halo halong guilt, frustration, self doubt, anger. Kasi kung ako naman tanggap ko sila basta lumapit sila sakin.

Life happened to me the past couple of years. I have been very socially absent and I have changed a lot as a person.

My values do not align anymore sa mga dati kong kaibigan. But nagkataon I am getting married at a phase in my life na hindi pa ako nakaka cultivate ng bagong solid na friendships.

So I chose my former long time best friend that I havent talked to for almost 3 years. Kasi I thought na he wasn’t a good influence but after a while naisip ko na hindi pala ganon nagwowork ang buhay. Unfair ba sa kaniya? Marami naman kami napagsamahan. But there will be an adjustment nag iba na kasi talaga ako.

It was really hard for me to choose but ultimately sa kaniya talaga bumagsak.

So I’m 30 yrs old soon to be married.

Back when i was in college it was easy to make friends and acquiantances. But after school I mainly focused on my career and my girlfriend, probably went on for like 4-5 years. 😭 I also cut off some friends kasi I thought they made me worse, but that’s a lesson I learned the hard way. I ghosted some also na napagod na mag aya sakin kasi I was too tired from work.

Fast forward to now, I’m in my thirties and I’m realizing a lot. Kumbaga things being out of balance for too long will come back to bite me in the ass. So now, I want to balance things out as I enter my 30s. Be more social, have a better set of friends.

I have been working on bettering myself din the past few years, more self aware, kinder, more mature and I think I can be a better friend to others na which I believe is where it starts.

I have also been doing more of my hobbies to connect with other people. Pero that’s where I find a roadblock like ang hirap makipag connect. Prolly cos busy rin sila with life so they just stay with a main set of friends.

With work naman I do business, so parang wala rin akong opportunity to have workmate friends.

I also find it challenging to reconnect with my old friends.

So ayun any tips would be appreciated ayaw ko magmukhang desperado! Haha!

Ako lang ba or that whole — part of what you’re paying for in DLSU is the connections and friends you make — is negligible at best?

I’ve been thinking about this more because I am getting married in a few months, and part of the wedding preps has you reminiscing alot haha.

The past few years i have been working in one of the biggest companies in the PH, I do business, but rarely did I benefit if anything or even have anything tangible come into fruition post school from the friends or connections I made. Lagi na lang “DLSU ka rin bro? Nice” or kapag may konting animo pride in the air “GO LA SALLEEEE!!” Siyempre kasama na yung pride na you graduated in DLSU pero tbh may konting unspoken pang mamaliit from people para bang “you’re not on the UP/ADMU intellect level”.

Granted, I wasn’t the most active, social and most studious student, but I think I was kind and sociable enough to gain a few merits with people. In fact since I was originally taking a double degree course and had to shift colleges, I was able to meet and get to know an assortment of people during my stay in DLSU, for the better and worse lol.

I even went on a school sanctioned out of the country field trip very lozol. IYKYK.

Is it a me thing? I definitely don’t see my friends benefitting from it also. Doesn’t matter if you’re filipino, chinese, indian, filchi, rich or poor. If you were in the alta rich friend group or the very chinese friend group already then maybe yes, some of those people became business partners. Mostly yung mga people from Zobel tas barkada parin sa Taft but still even them kanya kanya. Or yung mga galing sa chinese schools. But then if you were just acquaintances and classmates or even just good friends the best you’ll get is an IG story reaction.

So yeah DLSU was fun but for what you pay for? Looking back, idk i definitely wont factor in the connections thing. Maliit ang campus at ang hirap mag parking. Madami ring profs na ogags dati, not sure today hahaha!

Pero mahal ko pa rin ang DLSU, from the Erap era to the Yorme era, it definitely imparted in me a strong sense of entrepreneurship, and I miss Yuch, the booths, the ORGS (shoutout to my student publication org i wont specify), Henry, Agno, Bloemen, sila kuyang nagbebenta ng footlong sa Bloemen, getting FDA HAHA, running up Andrew, FTWELL/FTDANCE, flirting with athletes, seeing AVO walking in front Starbucks, yung baha kapag may bagyo tapos may kasamang pedicab vibes, and many more lol. At buti na lang I met my soon to be wife in DLSU hahaha.

So the fundamentals of AVGO is very strong.

In short:

- Strong earnings
- Strong demand on products
- Solid footing in AI race

But after earnings Broadcom dropped hard. Although it’s maintaining 375-380 level which is a good sign.

Some negatives that I have read are that Broadcom has done massive layoffs recently. And that most investors were disappointed even though earnings were solid but it just wasn’t up to par with expectations.

So some questions in my head are: When do you think will be its next big jump to a new high? And do you think it’s a buy right now? Is breaking the 400s again in the horizon?

Hi, i’m a 31M getting married soon. Already half way through wedding preparations, may mga downpayments na sa mga major suppliers.

And I have been feeling so much pressure, feeling ko napapasubo ako. I can’t pinpoint why basta feeling ko lang hindi ako ready for the wedding as the event itself. Parang sana pala nag civil na lang kami haha very low key kasi kaming mga tao. Ginusto ko to kasi gusto ko na makasama sa buhay ang fiancee ko at sabi ko traditional wedding tayo kasi once in a life time so may halo pa na guilt kasi nga ako naman pumili nito. 😭

Ayaw ko mapahiya, ayaw ko madisappoint yung parents ko. Alam ko it’s me and my partner’s day but in reality hindi naman maiiwasan yung mga influence, expectations, or sasabihin ng parents.

Also since the pandemic mejo naging antisocial ako so personal relationships ko ay hindi rin on the good side also. Parang feeling ko wala namang may gustong pumunta sa kasal ko.

Paano ba ‘to? 😅
