SNDK: What Could Happen Next Week

I was curious whether SNDK has shown any recurring short-term trading patterns throughout 2026, so I asked ChatGPT to analyze its previous pullbacks and rallies and generate a pattern-based scenario for the next couple of weeks.

This isn’t based on news, earnings expectations, or fundamentals - only on how SNDK has behaved after similar pullbacks earlier this year.

Obviously, history doesn’t repeat perfectly. I just thought it would be interesting to compare the historical rhythm with what actually unfolds.

Let’s see how this ages.

Already happened:
Thu Jun 25 🟢 Strong rally ✅
Fri Jun 26 🔴 Pullback ✅
Mon Jun 29 🔴 Down ✅
Tue Jun 30 🟢 Rebound ✅
Wed Jul 1 🔴 Down ✅
Thu Jul 2 🔴 Down ✅

Pattern-based scenario (based on prior 2026 price action):
Mon Jul 6 🟡 Stabilize
Tue Jul 7 🟢 Bounce
Wed Jul 8 🟢 Up
Thu Jul 9 🟢 Strong
Fri Jul 10 🟢 Up
Mon Jul 13 🟢 Up
Tue Jul 14 🟡 Pause
Wed Jul 15 🟢 Up
Thu Jul 16 🔴 Pullback
Fri Jul 17 🟢 Bounce

SNDK whales of Reddit... we need you. Next week is feeling like one giant bet on red or black.

The nerves are real.

Are you guys ready for Monday?

Because I'm not. Can the whales please send this thing higher while making themselves money too? It's your time to shine while cashing in yourself.

A whale opened a $934M put position against SNDK.

This whale placed a $934M put position betting on the stock going down. There were several large put trades today, but this one stood out the most.

These market movers fucking suck. It feels like the fate of everyone who’s not already in profit is in their hands… whether they keep betting on it going down or decide to start buying it up again.

Thoughts? I have January 2027 calls. But those who understand options know the effect of time decay, and my contracts have relatively high implied volatility and delta.

Memory Watchlist: Nearly Identical Moves

As of 4:40 PM ET:

DRAM: -10.83%
Micron: -10.80%
Sandisk: -10.70%

Pretty interesting that they’re all down by almost the exact same percentage. I’m in U.S but I saw SK Hynix in Korea is only down 3.40%, although I only started watching the Korean stock today.

Any thoughts on why all this might be?

Buying the dip is easy. Buying the dip of the dip is the impossible part.

There’s no worse feeling than when the dip just keeps dipping.

The reality is, when you’re buying a dip, it’s almost impossible to catch the absolute bottom. Sometimes you buy early and the stock takes off without you getting a better entry. Other times you buy early and it keeps falling, giving an even better dip afterward.

Realistically, I’ve noticed a typical green day is often somewhere around 6–10% from wherever the last price closed.

I still think it’s just cooling off and building a base before making a run toward 2,300 around earnings if the results are strong. It just sucks having to sit through the pullback.

MU, SanDisk, SK Hynix, or DRAM?

I know DRAM gives you exposure to the whole memory sector, but concentrated positions generate much higher returns if memory continues to do well.
Are you more bullish on one company in particular, or do you prefer to just DRAM & chill?

Why I Bought the Dip but Still Want a Better Entry

I’m honestly pretty sad.

My long term thesis hasn’t changed, but today was the perfect dip and I’d already used all my cash. I only had about $15k left to buy it.

Ironically, that small trade returned +59.61% on the options and +21.83% on MUU while my $250k position barely made it above breakeven.

That was discouraging enough that I sold my larger position from Friday once I got back to breakeven. Now I’ll be glued to the charts, hoping for one more dip and a better entry.

Note: The screenshots were taken at slightly different times near the end of the day, but my larger position was never up more than about 3%. Still very bullish. Just hoping for one more dip.

Google vs SK Hynix vs AMD: WWYD?

I bought Google and AMD about 8½ months ago, investing $35k in each.

Current returns:
AMD: +130.24%
Google: +37.50%

I’m not saying Google is a bad investment. It’s done fine. I just think there are opportunities with greater upside. I know these stocks is comparing apples to oranges, but my goal is simply to maximize ROI. These just happen to be the opportunities I’m currently considering.

I’m considering selling Google and:
A. Buying SK Hynix once it starts trading in the U.S.
Or
B. Buying more AMD since I’m still bullish long term.

Also, should I wait until Google qualifies for long term capital gains before selling? Where I live its 1 year and 1 day to qualify. I almost feel like the opportunity cost could outweigh it since it wouldn’t allow me to get SK early or AMD at a potentially better price.

Wendy’s Dreamers: From One Dreamer to Another, Keep This in Mind.

I have high hopes for y’all. I genuinely want you guys to win.

I get why Wendy’s was appealing. It was selling a lot of people hope and dreams, and the low entry price made it really easy to jump into, which is the part that worries me. People with very little can end up losing what little they have. That said, trust me, I understand. No risk, no reward. And I know this is SWSB.

I just hope you all realize this has all the signs of a Pump & Dump, and that the last people left holding the bag are the ones who get screwed.

Don’t rely on people’s loyalty. Everyone has an exit price.

50/50 on MU & SNDK just yesterday. YOLO.

Sometimes showing up late to the party means you only get a smaller slice of the cake, but a delicious slice nonetheless. Or maybe, just maybe, you showed up at the perfect time.

If you've been thinking about buying MU or SNDK but feel like you "missed it," maybe this is your sign.

No risk. No reward.

Can't handle volatility or red days? No soup for you.

Naysayers, hypothetical-crisis experts, people insisting there's no more upside because they can't afford to buy/don’t have the stomach for volatility, and self-proclaimed geniuses whose portfolios don't match the attitude... begoneeeee.

Day 1 of being in MU & Sandisk

It will be interesting to see how this ride plays out..

Price entries: MU: $1,132.48 & SNDK: $2,217

u/fitalwaysandforever — 9 days ago

Help.. I’m not bothered by being down. What bothers me is that I know I bought at a high price and starting out in the red.

I think I messed up.

I bought in too high, and now it feels like it’ll take a major catalyst just to get me back into profit.

Please before responding please understand I am totally OK with volatility and red days. I expect red days. What bothers me is not being in profit almost immediately and knowing I overpaid for my entry.

I feel like I either should’ve waited for a better entry or passed on the trade altogether.

Is this price too expensive for Sandisk?

I feel stupid… it was down 8% and i had to do something… like 1 min later it was only down like 4-5%…

My price is 2,217…

I believe in its future potential but I just put 250k in it (which is a big part of my networth) and feel the price I got it for doesnt make much sense

Thoughts?

MU & SNDK Holders. Which is the best play for the next year?

If you own or like both MU and SNDK, which do you think has more upside potential in 1 year & 1 month?

If I say for the next 6 months, does your answer change?

SK hynix is expected to begin trading on the U.S. market on July 10.

https://www.reuters.com/world/asia-pacific/south-koreas-sk-hynix-says-raise-29-bln-us-adr-listing-2026-06-24/

How do you think SKHY’s arrival on the U.S. market will impact Micron (MU)?

I’m finally in a position to buy MU, but one concern I have is that once SKHY becomes easily accessible to U.S. investors, money could rotate out of MU and into SKHY, leaving late MU buyers holding the bag.

I’m bullish on MU and think it could reach 1500 by year-end, but I’m curious whether SKHY’s U.S. listing could change that thesis.

What are your thoughts? Could SKHY’s arrival hurt MU and its ability to reach 1500 by year end, or do you think both can continue to perform well?

If you could only pick one, would you buy SNDK or MU?

If you had to pick just ONE stock to hold for the next 1–2 years, which would you choose: Micron (MU) or SanDisk (SNDK)?

Assume you can only buy one and hold it the entire time.

Which has the better risk/reward from here?
Which has the greater upside potential?
Which company do you think is better positioned to benefit from the AI boom?

If you had $500k to invest, would your answer change? Why or why not?
