Three years ago, I met a girl who meant everything to me. We never actually got into a relationship, but my feelings for her never went away.

It's been three years, and I still miss her every single day. Every morning I wake up thinking about her, and every night I fall asleep with the same thoughts.

I can't focus on work anymore. I've stopped taking care of my health. It honestly feels like I'm just existing instead of living.

Almost every day I think about texting her or trying to meet her. But deep down, I already know what her response would be, and that's what stops me.

I've tried distracting myself, staying busy, and telling myself to move on, but nothing really changes.

I don't know what to do anymore. Has anyone here been stuck like this for years? How did you finally let go?

I'm 30, and every weekday feels the same.

• Come home exhausted
• Scroll Instagram until midnight
• Sleep with guilt
• Repeat

I keep thinking I'll start learning something new, go to the gym, read books, or work on side projects, but I never seem to have the motivation after work.

I don't think I'm depressed I just feel mentally tired all the time, and Instagram has become my default escape.

If you've been in a similar situation, what helped you get your evenings back? Was it a mindset shift, a new routine, exercise, therapy, or something else?

I'd love to hear real experiences because I'm genuinely tired of living like this.

I'm just getting started with automation and I'm trying to avoid wasting time on projects that don't have much real-world value.

If you were a complete beginner today, what would you choose as your first automation project?

my_qualifications: Class 12 student exploring B.Tech options and researching AI Engineering and Computer Science programs in the Gurgaon/NCR region.

I am considering AI Engineering for my B.Tech and trying to cut through the marketing noise. Most of what I find online is either from college admission websites or generic "AI is the future" articles.

Specific questions I am trying to answer:

Is there a real difference between a dedicated AI Engineering program and a CS degree with AI electives? Or is it mostly branding?

For someone who wants to work in ML or data roles after graduation - does the specialization actually matter in hiring, or do companies just look for skills regardless of which degree you have?

What are the honest downsides of choosing AI Engineering over CS that people do not talk about?

I am looking at colleges in the Gurgaon/NCR region specifically. One thing I noticed is that some colleges like Vedam School of Technology offer a dedicated four-year B.Tech CS AI program (with the degree from Sushant University, their partner university) rather than a general CS degree with AI electives - curious if that structure actually makes a difference in hiring. Happy to share what I have found so far if that helps the discussion.
