Holy cow I know this is a popular show so it brings in a bunch of people who don’t typically watch musicals but this audience has been horrible so far.

Couple behind me has been talking explaining the plot to each other the whole show, lady next to me was using diction on her Apple Watch, and lady to my right literally took out her phone in the middle of you’ll be back to take a photo and started loudly singing “da da da da daahhhh” during the song.

Props to the usher who saw her take a photo and instantly came up to her saying she needed to delete it. At intermission phone lady started talking to her friends like “why was that lady upset. I just took a photo not a video”. I kindly got to inform her that both photos and videos during the show aren’t allowed so at least now she knows.

This was in orchestra too so like not the cheap seats; I’m pretty sure it’s like $200-$300 a pop over here.

Hello, after seeing videos of holiwood nights this year I think I want to try to make it out next year to ride trimless voyage. However, I am worried that the extreme forces of trimless voyage combined with the smell of thoosies will make me throw up on the ride and cause unnecessary downtime.

With the solutions I’ve looked at so far, the most realistic and reccomended seems to be to wear a nose plug, but I cannot find any recommendations for good nose plugs since this is such a niche activity with extreme forces that can throw the nose plug out.

Does anyone have any recommendations for nose plugs that work well, are comfortable (don’t get in the way of airtime room), and won’t fall out on the trimless triple down?

Another option I have is bringing my grandma’s oxygen tank but I haven’t been able to find anything saying whether or not you can bring it on the ride, so any advise there would be helpful as well.

Watched obsession today and I felt like part of fake Nikki’s character was inspired by ai with the amount of affirmation.

-She blindly affirms whatever the hell he says and doesn’t ever push back on anything in the relationship unless it’s him pushing away

-She tries to act human but clearly doesn’t know how

-She mixes up random stuff randomly while trying to act human like cooking up a sandwich made of cat.

-She tries to adapt to what Bear likes (Sarah) near the end

-She pushes someone to suicide

-She took the soul out of a creative work/person and

Ai is definitely a big cultural topic right now, especially with people forming relationships with some LLMs and even dating them. This is super unhealthy because the models do exactly what Nikki does in the movie; only spitting out what the user wants to hear and reassuring and affirming them at every step.

There’s even been cases where people have committed suicide after being pushed to it and reaffirmed by chat gpt. The movie even had the main character take on a lot of characteristics of someone who would put his trust in LLM’s alot

Say I am validating a caliper with a 0.05” resolution by comparing it with a gage block that’s actual value is 6.001”. With the caliper, I measured 6.1”.

When doing an error calculation Abs(Block-Measured), would I report the error and pass/fail based on an error of 0.1” or 0.099”? On one hand, the .099” ignores the accuracy of the gage block, but on the other, the 0.099” implies accuracy to the caliper that does not exist.

Any advice?

(Note: this isn’t an actual procedure I’m just trying to find out how to correctly report error with different resolutions)
