really like the comp upgrades...

the 2x vegetable or 2x rice when available is cool. I wonder how they decide when to offer such comp upgrades. or when you can do 2x meat/protein for a nominal fee.

Is there a robot vac out there with a mop roller that won’t develop a smell after being washed/dried on the base station? Or is this just a thing with all robot mop vacs and resets once you do the monthly manual washing of the mop roller in a sink?

For context I’ve had the Dyson spot scrub AI for 2 weeks now (got it for $762 when it was on sale combined with a coupon) and while the base station is doing a good job washing and drying it, it is definitely starting to smell 2 weeks later. I am not using dyson’s cleaning solution yet as it is out of stock, but I’m using aunt Fannie’s vinegar wash in the base station which it uses to clean the roller and in the clean water tank. Was really hoping the station would be able to keep it fresh smelling and clean between the monthly manual clean cycles of the wet roller.

Before I got this Dyson I just had a Roborock S8+ with machine washable mop pads, and while it certainly doesn’t do as thorough of a mopping job, it would never develop a smell as there was no dirty water tank on it and the mop pads were a one time use per cycle until you wash it again.

So I’m honestly wondering debating on either A. Just dealing with the smelly mop roller that gets refreshed during its monthly cycle B. Returning it and going back to my Roborock S8+ which had great vacuum performance and basic mopping and just using a swiffer or something for tough stains or C. Returning it and getting a even better robot vac mop that will never have a stinky roller (if such thing exists)

Hey everyone! I'm u/goodguy743, the new moderator of r/inkindApp.

This is our new home for all things related to inKind. I’m very passionate about inKind and was inspired by the many active users sharing their experiences in this community, but was disheartened to see all the good content buried in spam codes. Sharing referral links will now be limited to a recurring scheduled post to keep it consolidated and fair to everyone.

I first discovered inKind in 2024 when checking out my favorite restaurant in Austin, TX, The Peached Tortilla. I use the app there regularly, and also have used it to find some awesome restaurants when traveling to Colorado and other places.

What to Post

Maybe it’s a new restaurant you discovered on inKind or an issue you experienced trying to use your balance or promotion. Feel free to share news or your thoughts and questions about inKind, and you can post your referral link in a recurring post that refreshes bi-weekly. Please note that no kickbacks are allowed for using your referral link, such as a payment on Venmo or Zelle.
