Anyone have access to the preview?

Just been allowed in, yet to use. What's your experience so far for those who have access?

Any features not yet in Google Home?

I have both Nest and Google Home installed, but unsure if anything is missing from Home nowadays?

Home has been fine for a while for me but with Protect in there now and schedules for Thermostat, I do wonder if I still need Nest installed?

I do get issues with presence awareness with my cameras indoors that are set to away only, they weirdly activate when my wife leaves the house and I'm still at home. Might help with that.

Codex working on messages from other chats

I've just pulled down my latest branch and asked Codex to work on two features, in two separate chats. The messages and update requests made sense, proceeded.

Looking at the final code, it's made changes in Chat A that I started in Chat B. And then Chat B has made the same changes in Chat A.

Why is it doing this? This doesn't make sense, even if what it is doing is working on the same code folder.

I find the setup required a bit strange anyway, I'd love for it to pull my latest repo branches but I do it for them using GitHub Desktop. But why does it when doing two separate chats not work in parallel? Seems confusing to me, and something I think they should work on in the UI. I think I'll have to do two clean branches called feature a and feature b and point to those.

Just had it come through in UK finally.

Played around a bit, no issues so far. What might I be missing? It seems a bit faster so far.

All last week any videos I'm taking in camera app and sharing to WhatsApp are cropped to a square. Anyone else experiencing this? P9 Pro XL. Selfie videos.

Jules is now very slow

I'm not sure it's always this slow, and that's part of the problem, I think it's inconsistent.

But just now as a test I ran the same task through Jules and also through GitHub Copilot. Copilot took 6 minutes. Jules is still ongoing after 35 minutes.

Copilot used Sonnet 4.6, Jules 3.1 Pro. I see similar slowness with Flash.

Occasionally tasks take well over an hour. I know there is a new version coming so I hope they've just switched off until then, but I hope the new version doesn't remove it's effectiveness in current state and push towards other tools...
