Need help. Trying to remove outer tie rod, but entire assembly spins with it.

I'm stuck. How do I get the inner and outer tie rod to separate.

Is it just me, or do people on the internet like to pretend they don't like this show and find it unfunny?

Because the activity here says otherwise. And I've personally always enjoyed it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

To any former conservatives here, what made you change?

Most conservatives I meet are staunchly unwavering, no matter how many facts you present to their talking points. For any former conservatives in here, what was the thing that made you reconsider?

And do you think there is any chance more on the right will realize their beliefs and voting habits have done more harm to the country than good?

Kevin's story [Updated]

I felt bad about how Kevin's character was handled at the end of the show. A while ago on here I wrote my own headcanon of what I think happens after failing to graduate with his class(and losing Brittany). It respects both the original canon and the updated 2017 adult canon. I revisited it recently and fleshed it out some more. If anyone is interested, read below and tell me what you think. :D

------------------------

Kevin's story [revised]

I felt bad for Kevin when he didn't graduate and got left behind by his girlfriend and classmates. So what happens to Kevin? This is my headcanon of what probably happens.

-----------------------

He hunkers down and begins taking studying more seriously. Mr. DeMartino and Mr. O'Neil are impressed by his improvements. He's no Poindexter, but turns out to be good with literature and history. As for Brittany, she has absolutely moved on, is having fun at university and dating other guys. Kevin also moves on, dating other girls. There is no contact between them. He graduates with a 2.6 GPA and enrolls at the local community college for a year to improve his credits for university.

He gets the required credits and transfers to a division 2 school with a strong football program, and resumes chasing his football career. Of course he gets into some mischief, because its Kevin. Here, he has some success playing and is scouted for the NFL tryouts. He makes it to the draft, first with the then St. Louis Rams, they don't take him and is traded to the Carolina Panthers. After a few draft rounds, they move on him also. With a connection from his dad, he tries for the Atlanta Falcons. Unfortunately they decline also and he doesn't get signed. With good word from his college and the 3 teams, he plays 2 seasons in Canada. There he has some moderate succes, but still no calls from the NFL.

Down on his luck, he returns to Lawndale and gets hired at a car dealer where he runs into Mr. DeMartino and weirdly, Mr. O'Neill who are both employees there. Long story short, some of Ms. Li's shenanigans at Lawndale High got her and some of the staff fired. O'Neill and DeMartino are happy Kevin did good for himself, but take some schadenfreude in the fact that football didn't work out for him. He's a great salesman though, owns a nice condo, and dates lots of women.

On weekends, he coaches youth football leaugues and assists at high school football training. He's like a more successful version of Uncle Rico, haha. He eagerly tells his story about how he, "Was star QB, played for a division 2 school and almost made it to the NFL but...(insert excuse)" to anyone that will listen.

Mean while, Brittany after graduating college, marries a successful man, and moves to California to pursue a modeling career. While visiting Lawndale one weekend, she bumps into Kevin and they catch up. The meeting is awkward. They lie to each other about how great their lives are going. He shows her a pic of a woman he's seeing and how he plans to marry her. But its really just a one night stand he met at the beach the night before. She tells him about her life in Cali, getting married and how great it all is. But her marriage has been on the rocks for a while now now(cheating husband) and facing divorce. The meeting is short. Before parting ways, they agree to keep in touch this time "for real", but contact fades.

Eventually she gets divorced and moves back to Lawndale. Her and Kevin connect and meet up at a social event and hit it off well. They rekindle their old spark and later decide to marry.

What to do about high humidity?

I'm in the southeast and humidity is always 70% to 90% daily. Today it's 89%. Working on a DIY project. Not a shop with a paint booth. Painting outside.

Car is in a detached garage. Its not climate controlled, insulated or sealed. So what ever the temperature and humidity is outside, it's that inside the garage. In the southeast where high humidity is default. So waiting for a good day is not an option. Have postponed for 3 weeks now. The daily rain isn't helping. Tired of waiting, what can I do?

Edit: Thank you for the responses guys. Some good advice here.

Do you ever assume most men are taken?

Regarding asking people out. Guy here, and when I'm out and see attractive women, I just assume their already taken, "spoken for" or just not available. And so I don't even bother. This could be a confidence thing and maybe I'm psyching myself out. Do you ever feel this way when you see men you fancy? Just curious what it's like from the other side.

Update: Windshield pinch weld rust removal

Removed rust from windshield channel. Now treating with osphos to remove and stop rust in pitted areas that I couldn't reach.

Update: Progress made. Ready for oshpos?

Is this good? Is it ready for osphos treatment. Need input. Just finished removing rust to bare metal and went over it with wire wheel to try and get the pitted areas.

Is this bad?

This was after I took a small wire wheel on low speed with a dremel to remove the surface rust.

I got mixed replies, some saying the metal appears solid and to sand until you get to clean metal and smooth out the pitting. Said that if the metal isn't rotted through with holes or crumbling, I'm good to go.

But then another user told me this isn't repairable and that anything more than surface level rust(like the flash rust you get on new raw metal) needs to be cut and replaced.

Need a general estimate to repair this. Rust removal and new primer coat.

Replacing windshield and need to repair rust. What is a rough estimate to have the rust and old urethane removed and an epoxy primer sprayed on the windshield channel?

Came home from work and saw this. Already knew what it was.

Parked the car at noon and covered it. Got home from work 9:30 tonight and saw this. Luckily I had a spare stopper on hand from when the clutch switch failed.

The brake lights burned 9 hours. Of course the battery is dead now. Tail lamps were hot, but hopefully the sockets aren't melted. Is there a reason Honda chose to use a degradable plastic for the stoppers?

Hidden rust. Check your cars.

So finally got the windshield out. I don't know if this is unique to my car or a potential common problem on all JZXs waiting to happen. Luckily it's just surface rust and I caught it before it turned to corrosion and rotted through.

Anyway, these are 30+ year old cars now, so its possible for things like this to be hiding. Pull your windshield moldings. It's possible the had a windshield replacement in the past, and the installer scraped the paint, leaving untreated bare metal.
