Big saw for big wood
The 3120xp isn’t flashy but it’s a torque monster. Got this saw at auction, put some time and a few parts into it. It shines in big wood, but definitely not a climbing saw, lol.

And now I wait for it to dry. Cut a variety of thicknesses (4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 7/4) for cutting boards, furniture, etc., including two 23” wide by 1-1/2” thick by 12’ long book matched planks for a harvest table top.
I’ll be getting a hard maple log cut into lumber tomorrow and was wondering if there is a consensus on the lumber thickness to make end grain boards. I’m not looking for any fancy pattern, just the usual “brickwork” assembly. If I milled the lumber at 1-1/4”, I would likely get full 1” at glue up, accounting for shrinkage for drying, and planing. 1-1/2” would result in 1-1/4” final thickness, etc. Any suggestions? Thanks!
This came from a tree that recently died. It’s gonna make a few cutting boards and a butcher block or two or three or…
Given the state of Reddit in general for all state subs, I’m not really surprised that r/Wisconsin has become an echo chamber for liberal and progressive views, without any honest debate allowed. Anyone with a conservative point of view is bombed back to the Stone Age with downvotes, or just outright banned for trivial reasons. I haven’t spent a lot of time yet in r/wisconsinpolitics, but I’m hopeful to find a little more civil debate. Rant over.
The situation is that one owner of a parcel of land has undivided 1/2 interest, and the other owner has undivided 1/2 interest as marital property with his wife. They own the property as tenants in common. The wife wishes to have her name removed as an owner (no divorce involved). So the final status will be the single owner and the married husband each having an undivided 1/2 interest.
So is the grantor the husband’s wife and the grantees the single owner and the husband? What specific language should be included on the quit claim deed to describe the change in ownership?
Thanks to anyone who can help!
Asking for opinions from cribbage players who are not yet ACC members, but who would consider joining. The membership fee is $30 per year, which provides access to all ACC activities. How many players who typically only play online would join the ACC with a full membership to play in online events? If there was a reduced membership fee of $10, would online players be more likely to join? Information about ACC membership, live tourneys, grass roots clubs, and online play can be found on the ACC website, www.cribbage.org. Looking forward to your responses.
